Doing things the new way

An Emoji Devotions for The, 29th of June 2021

Topic: Doing things the new way

Highlight:

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Cor 5:17

How can we protect ourselves from destructive ways?

Stop all your dirty talk. Say the right thing at the right time and help others by what you say.  Don't make God's Spirit sad. The Spirit makes you sure that someday you will be free from your sins.  Stop being bitter and angry and mad at others. Don't yell at one another or curse each other or ever be rude. Instead, be kind and merciful, and forgive others, just as God forgave you because of Christ.

Always be full of joy. Never stop praying. Whatever happens, always be thankful. This is how God wants you to live in Christ Jesus.  Don’t stop the work of the Holy Spirit. Don’t treat prophecy like something that is not important. But test everything. Keep what is good, and stay away from everything that is evil.

Cooperate with the Holy Spirit of God to show you how to live a new life because after you have met with Jesus, you are not more the old person you used to be.

"Without saying a word, the man watched her closely to learn whether or not the Lord had made his journey successful." Genesis 24:31

Avoid getting used to the old ways as though everything depends on your efforts. Trust, watch and learn from God alone. God will make the finish product possible through His word and directions of His Spirit. "His ways are different from our ways", and He sees the end from the beginning'. Which means you should accept the grace of God through His will in Christ Jesus.

Grow your spirit everyday by taking quality time to study the Holy Bible which the Spoken words of God and join the community of believers around you. Begin to do things the new way. Psalms 1:1-2

Prayer: Teach me father how to do your will and to place my expectations on you alone in Jesus name. Amen

Tossed by the wind

An Emoji Devotions for Sun 27 Jun 2021

Topic: Tossed by the wind

Highlight:

... because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6

There is power in God's word and it can change your life for good.

But doubt double-crosses people by their fear. Those who doubt may tend to break down and their Spirit will look faulty with excuses to reverse their progress while looking back at comfort zone instead of looking ahead to destiny.

Those who doubt become worried that something is going to go the wrong way. Doubt makes people look at their previous failures like in a movie and turned their faith  into negative. Doubt interacts with our mind about negative stories. It is a feeling of uncertainty or lack of conviction.

Doubt goes with bad mood that gives fear. In Revelations 21:8 the Bible says the fearful will take their part in the lake that burns with fire and in James 1:7 the Bible says that "such people who doubt should not expect to receive anything from the Lord." Life itself is a practical experience that require us to have faith when we connect to God. Faith gives us a hand to hold unto God  but doubt makes us lose our grip, tossed by the wind.

We should not doubt "For surely there is a future...." and Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. Proverbs 23:18; Psalm 125:1

We must become confident that through Jesus Christ we will have a brighter future? Trust in God with all your heart that He's able to do exceedingly above all things that you ask or think, according to the power working in you. Ephesians 3:20

Doubt can hunt the mind. If you are possessed with the spirit of doubt, You need the Holy Spirit of God to give you faith and conviction through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus replied “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. Matthew 21:21

We need to make up our mind that we will not be tossed by the wind and Hold on to the promises of God in His word.

Prayer: Thank you blessed Holy Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ as you are welcomed into my spirit. Please flush away every need for unholy doubt in my life from now on in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Put the knife away.

Topic: Put the knife away.

Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! ... John 18:11

"And the LORD replied, “If I find fifty righteous people in Sodom, I will spare the entire city for their sake.”

 Genesis 18:26

God disclosed to you that He loves you. He extend his love by sending His Son to die. He made an expensive sacrifice of love because He wants you to put your knives away. "If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them! And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. Luke 6:35

God have been kind to you all these while even when you did not know about Jesus's love. He sheltered you, he gave you food and water and send people around you to help you nurture and learn as you grow. The matrix of the God's love was a gift that goes around to everyone in our neighborhood even though we cannot see it. God made everything looks so good so you won't have anything to bother you. He did all these for so you can put your knife away.

Of course, The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? Only God knows how bad it is and He alone could deal with it. Do not let anyone to make you mad at a point to commit wrong deed that could implicate you in God's presence. God wants you to change the way you think. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Jeremiah 17:9 & Romans 12:2)

Unlike the second highlighted verse, Genesis 18:26 Like Sodom and Gomorrah, the earth already is like a crime scene. For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. (2 Chro 16:9) So when God comes to the earth to find only fifty righteous people. Let us be among the righteous, let it be because of you that He will spare the earth. Let us show love to people around us, maybe they can also change to God because of you and me.

Life is beautiful and that is how it ought to be. God always give you second chance I. what you do. Not because you can get away with it but because of His love for you.  Let us also put the knives away and begin to show some love to people from now on. Matthew 28:19,

Remember one thing: they that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:3

Prayer: O God, I am honored at the way you love me. I am addicted to your love. I will not take your love for granted. Give me the grace to love in Jesus name. Amen.

Zero Tolerance to the Devil

An Emoji Devotions for Wed 23 June 2021

Topic: Zero Tolerance to the Devil

Highlight: Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:7

The devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Lions have strong, compact bodies and powerful forelegs, teeth and jaws for pulling down and killing prey. Lions rely on stalking their prey and seldom charge until they are within 30m unless the prey is facing away and cannot see the charge. So is the Devil. The Bible says in John 10:10 that "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

The devil has that animal instinct that does has no consideration of little bit of kindness. What the devil steals away is joy. This is what you must guide in your life. The joy of the Lord through Jesus Christ. There is Joy for anyone who abide in Jesus Christ and his commands because Jesus Christ is the only one who fights for the betterment and joy of humanity.  Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. He is also the the gate; that whoever enters through him will be saved.

This means that there is different between pleasure, happiness and Joy. You may have pleasure and be happy that may only last for a moment. But Joy is looking back and forth and there is hope of life, there is love, there is vibrant energy to continue your journey. Jesus is the Hope of glory. On the other hand the devil is a hope killer.

Remember that the devil is always stalking his prey and the only solution is to receive Jesus into our lives. "Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture." John 10:7,9

You must be ready to be a sheep and follow Jesus the shepherd. in John 10:11 He said "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." It is only Jesus that will lay down his life for you to protect you from the enemy. Do not listen to any deceit of the devil anymore. Carry your Bible and start reading about Jesus in the new Testament from today. If you are not born again unto the family of God. Do so right away by saying " Jesus the son of God I believe in you, save my soul from the hands of the devil. Turn me to your sheep and keep me in under your protection from the enemy of my soul. Forever Amen.

Prayer: Lord Jesus I look up to you  for protection over my soul. Amen.

Problem never ends

An Emoji Devotions for Tue, 22nd of June, 2021

Topic: Problem Never Ends

But Sarah saw Ishmael—the son of Abraham and her Egyptian servant Hagar—making fun of her son, Isaac. Genesis 21:9 NLT

When this topic came on 21st of June, I could not write on it. Then I heard that if I can not write on this topic, I might have been compromised. My calling is to deliver message to the people of God and not deliberate on which is okay or not. In my mind I was thinking, how the topic could have been an encouragement to people. but Is it not true that problem never ends?

Everyone including the richest and powerful people in the world have problems. One thing we should all know that God is the only one that can help us to solve our problems. It's not going to be like an Abracadabra! it's going to be by our obedience to His authority over lives.

Ismael was making fun of Isaac. He was so comfortable in his father's house making fun of Mistress son. He forgot he was a slave's son even though he was treated like a Prince. How many of in one time did forgot our humble beginning and made fun of the less privileged? Sorry to Ismael that was where his problem began. Who knows the kind of orientation he received from his mother. Our upbringing could create problems for us if we are not well trained. Ismael and his mother were sent off and because of what happened he became a generational problem.

To Sarah, her own problem was created when she told her husband to marry her slave to raise a child for him. Don't blame her, She wanted to solve the problem of child birth by her own idea but later regretted her actions. When Hagar her servant knew that she was pregnant for Abraham she no longer respect Sarai Genesis 16:4. Congratulations to Sarah as she became a mother of Isaac at old age. Ismael was making fun of Isaac. Problem Never ends.

If you really really want to solve a problem, Obedience to God is the only solution.

You sin if you refuse to obey the Lord . This sin is as bad as to do evil magic . You think that you know better than God. That is a sin which is like the worship of idols... . 1 Samuel 15:23...

Today, I am telling you this! You must obey the Lord your God. Be careful to obey all his rules. If you do that, he will make you very important. He will make you more important than any other nation of people in the world.

Deuteronomy 28:1

Read your Bible and you will find the commands of God written in them. Our brain can only guess but the Bible is established.

Prayer: O Lord help me to tune my spirit into your voice to follow your commands. Help me Lord with your strength to solve my problems in Jesus name. Amen.

Strength to Discern rightly

An Emoji Devotions for Sun, Jun 20, 2021

Topic: Strength to Discern rightly.

Highlight:

You are the only one who knows what is in your own mind, and God's Spirit is the only one who knows what is in God's mind.

1 Corinthians 2:11‭

But our mind could be convinced to change our choices when we get to the menu table. Mr Alexander would say to the chef "I will have chicken" while another Mr Bartolomeo would first ask his doctor "can I take some chicken?" and Ms Cloe would say "I wish to have chicken for breakfast because others are having it". But Daniel made up his mind to eat and drink only what God had approved for his people to eat. And he asked the king's chief official for permission not to eat the food and wine served in the royal palace.

Daniel 1:8

Hold on, I love chicken too but do I have to discern to eat this sumptuous delicious chicken? "If this is God's will for me, I will eat it but I'm sorry I don't even know what God's will is on this matter. That's why I need to discern. Then I need Strength to know if I'm truly discerning the right thing or I could have been guessing.

"Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." Romans 12:2

Did anyone remember the word "Dignity"? If yes, know it's a very important word. It's a word that help people discern right things. But it's incomplete without adding our faith in Christ Jesus to it. This is where Strength to discern rightly cones from.

What's dignity in Christ? It is the state or quality of being worthy of honour of respect of Kingdom of Christ. You knew it when people talk about you and add Jesus Christ to your dignity? What a great honour for being a dignified ambassador of Jesus Christ: lead by the Holy Spirit, glorifying the heavens among men. God called the people to whom he spoke “gods”. And you know that the Bible remains always true.

John 10:35

But God has given us his Spirit. This is why we don't think the same way that the people of this world think. This is also why we can recognize the blessings God has given us.

1 Corinthians 2:12.

Finally,...., keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don't ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise. You know the teachings in the Bible, and you know what Jesus say and do. So follow His example. And God, who gives peace, will be with you.

Let your dignity be in Christ alone and you shall have abundant strength to discern. Hallelujah!

Prayer: Father Lord don't let me walk in confusion. I pray for dignity in Christ Jesus alone. Amen.

The left hand of God

An Emoji Devotions for Fri, Jun 18, 2021

Topic: The Left Hand of God

Highlight:

Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Matthew 25:41

No mathematics is needed to tell us what the left and right hand in the above highlight mean. We do not need to argue that our Lord Jesus Christ told us that Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.' and tell those on the left to "depart from me...into eternal fire" This shows us that God's right hand is to uphold righteousness and left hand is for establish judgement on the enemies of God. Isaiah 41:10. That's why He categorically said Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; that but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear. Isaiah 59:1-2

This means that there are different authorities waiting for signal on both sides of Gods arms. when God signals his right hand, mercy will uphold the righteous but when he signal his left hand, there is going to be judgement on God's enemies. Jesus is on the right hand "And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Acts 7:56 while the punisher is on the left. "Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels." Matthew 25:41

The right and left arms are totally separated from each other with a great chasm or gap of separation in between that those on both sides cannot cross to each other. (Luke 16:26)

Which means that there is hope on the right hand but once anyone cross to the left hand,  God will not hear any plea even if the plea is for a drop of water Luke 16:24.

But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you this day, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you:

Deuteronomy 28:15

As the forces on both arms are free for all to reach through decisions on earth there is always a constant battle on people who are crossing from left to right and right to left each day. Some will choose right path while some would go to the left Matthew 7:14,   Jesus Christ showed us a big picture by hanging on a cross because a cross is a good definition for punishment unto salvation. If you are not born again and you still indulge in things you know does not please God. You need to be saved on time by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. First, repent from bad ways and forsake them and then confessing Jesus as your Lord and savior. That is not all: Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. Matthew 26:41

To Obey God's command on time is better than damage control sacrifice. Matthew 10:28; and 1Samuel 15:22. Do Stay on the right side of God always until the end and enjoy abundant life. Amen.

Prayer: God I pray for grace to stay on your right hand side where Jesus is the King forever in Jesus name. Amen

Strength to Continue (Don't Quit)

An Emoji Devotions for Thu Jun 17 2021

Topic: Strength to Continue (Don't Quit)

Highlight:

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Cor 15:58

You are part of God's process. God has placed you into the position you are currently occupying bon earth. Every thing is as God made it; not as it appears to us. They were not easy to understand as it immediately appears to be until after we meditate and relate to them and realized that God has done certain things for our own good, then our spirit can see God's hand in them. God saved us through our Lord Jesus Christ to give us a role to occupy. Our labour is not in vain as long as we hold on to continue hoping in the Lord Jesus. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. Psalm 34:5. Keep moving don't quit. Pray for strength to continue. No one knows the road of life. Only God knows the road you will ply John 14:6. He told Abraham "Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you." Genesis 12:1. Only God can show us the way and our destination in life. Abraham obeyed God and left his homeland to become very very great till today because He follow God's plan. His name can never be wiped off in the record of life.  God did even attached Abraham's name to His honor. "I am the God of Abraham"... Exodus 3:6. One thing is special to God and that this is the "strength to continue" Even in hardest decisions, so far it is God's will. Your willpower must be unconditional to continue to believe in God as it was accounted to Abraham as being righteousness. Abraham had to wait before he had his own child and after waiting for so many years, He wanted to Sacrifice his only son to God without objecting it. God gave him a reward of blessings for continuity in strength to walk with Him. There are very good examples to follow written in the Bible to read and be inspired. Take your time to read the Bible always John 5:39.  Be strong to continue to do God's command. Remember to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. At the end of my letter, I want to say this to you: Be united with the Lord , so that you are strong. Then his great power will help you.

Ephesians 6:10

Prayer: O Lord strengthen me to continue in my walk with you in Jesus name.

War In Heaven

An Emoji Devotions for 16th June, 2021

Topic: War in heaven

Highlight:

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelations 12:7,8,10

The Sovereign God decided to create another world and made man to rule over it. It's obvious that the development was accepted by all heavens but did not go well with the dragon faction which the devil. He was not happy about it. The Old serpent claims that the human God created is not stable in mind and can change in the face of challenges. The dragon tagged the development as unacceptable! How impossible it is for us to understand God's decisions and his ways! (Rom 11:33) So God gave the old serpent a condition, that if the dragon can give him an evidence that all human will change against his will, he will wipe out humanity. Genesis 18:21 "I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know". The devil since then became the accuser of brethren as He is looking for evidence against humanity.

“Where have you come from?” the LORD asked Satan. Satan answered the LORD, “I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.” Job 2:2

No need to keep the story longer. There is a higher power in heaven greater than the devil and all it's principalities who did not permit the devil to destroy precious humanity whom God has created. His name is Jesus. Jesus came to save us from accusations of devil. The Bible says whoever believes in him will not Perish but have eternal life. Through his blood we can be saved. The angels fought the devil with the blood shed on the Cross as a sacrifice for sin and have cast him off into the earth.

Are you saved? Do you have eternal life of Christ in You? Did you postpone your salvation? Today is the day to Confess Jesus as your Lord and savior so that accusations will stop and also pray that Jesus will use His Holy blood  to cleanse you from sin to give you victory over accusations of the devil today. (read Romans 6:22-23)

Prayer: Jesus I believe in your blood. Make me powerful and set me free from accusations through your Holy blood and your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name. Amen.

Looking unto Jesus

An Emoji Devotions for Tue 15th of June, 2021

Topic: Looking Unto Jesus

Highlight: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

When a child of God is afraid of failure and could not get mind off it, Looking unto Jesus is the only remedy to overcome it. Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?"

As a child of God, everyday is dedicated holy unto the Lord who is already resting after the time of creation. As The Lord is currently resting, the Lord wants us out of distress and negativity. He wants us to look unto him from beginning to the end of our thoughts. He said "Come to me all of you who are tired. You are like people who have worked for a long time. You are like people who have carried heavy things. Come to me. If you do that, you will find a place to rest.

Jesus is a resting place for all who listens to his voice. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. Look unto Jesus as your place of rest through his Word. Seek guidance through prayer, read soul lifting sermons, daily Devotions and the Holy Bible. Stay calm and look on Jesus only as your resting place by relaxing yourself in the author and finisher of your faith. No one can forcefully earn spiritual gifts by merits. You can only surrender and relax in Jesus for solution. John 14:6

You must look unto Jesus only as your resting place in whatever you are doing in life and wherever you find yourself. Look unto Jesus the author and finisher of faith. This is the opportunity to give your life to Jesus Christ if you are not born again. Confess Jesus as your resting place and ask him to come into your life today.

Jesus will give you power to defeat failure and stress. Engage him in prayer today. They call themselves marvelous in heaven because they look unto Jesus and they were not put to shame in the day of battle. Revelations 12:11.

Angels believe in the blood of Jesus. What about you?

Prayer: Lord Jesus I invite you into my subconsciousness as my place of rest. come and Please give me peace that surpasses all understanding in your name. Amen.

Mystery of Giving

An Emoji Devotions for Mon Jun 14 2021

Topic: Mystery in giving.

Highlight:

One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. Proverbs 11:24-25

"No one has ever become poor by giving" Giving has a mystery;

"People curse the one who hoards grain, but they pray God’s blessing on the one who is willing to sell." Proverbs 11:26

The mystery behind the above verse shows that giving is beyond  just giving out to escape disturbance from people but giving is about showing unconditional love, caring and providing emotional support. When you give, you open a door of  someone's heart to be thankful to God on your behalf. In this case you have stand as a representative of God to be a blessing. God will evaluate the giver and sends more blessings through him. I have seen a giver who promised a someone in dire need to be hopeful perhaps a miracle could happen in his work place and he might have the opportunity to help. The one at the receiving end went home to pray earnestly for his helper and the next morning a miracle happened to the giver who quickly remember the one he promised to help. If you give with purpose according to God's will, you will never lack.

Look around you today with purpose of Good intentions from God today and you will see an opportunity to give in the name of Jesus. "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." 2 Cor 9:7-8

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38

Prayer: Lord help me to be a giver to the glory of your name in Jesus name. Amen

At home – snug, safe and secure

An Emoji Devotions for Sun June 13, 2021

Topic: At home – snug, safe and secure

By H. U. Wenger

Highlights: I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me. (Psalm 13:6)

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. (James 5:13 – 15)

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28 – 30)

I know with unfailing certainty that we all have something in common. We all have started our lives with an insatiable craving for being rescued. There was absolutely nothing we could do to help ourselves, except for crying out as loud as possible. Nothing was more comforting and nourishing than finding strong arms that held us and provided everything we needed. In these loving provisions we felt at home, snug, safe and secure. As we grew, we all began to fight for our independence.

I do not need help. I am big and strong myself – I want to go my own way – I want to shape and do things my way! In our childhood and adolescence we are oscillating between crying out for help – how do you dare to abandon me? – and marking our independence – leave me alone, I am big enough to decide myself!  Deep down within us there remains an insecurity that keeps craving for being at home, snug safe and secure. The writer of Psalm 13 was aware of this. He is in trouble and cries out to the Lord: ‘How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.’ (Verses 1 – 4) Because he knows the Lord the same way he knew his parents, who have nurtured him, he does not despair, but trusts in the help to come, although there is not an immediate answer to his plea. “But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.” (Verses 5 – 6)

James expands the trust in the Lord to those who are happy and to those who are sick. Everyone is called to either sing the Lord’s praises or to pray. Jesus finally makes clear that he has room for every single one of us, who is burdened and who longs to be at home, snug safe and secure. He offers the rest we all are craving for in our hearts. All I have to do is to come to him and accept that I cannot do it on my own. In his arms I get the same comfort and the same nurturing help as I got as a baby in my mother’s arms. With him, I can be at home for eternity and I will never ever be blamed for being needy.

Prayer: Jesus Christ, I am burdened and needy and I long to be at home. Thank you for your invitation. I need your salvation and the rest for the soul you promise more than anything else. Thank you for accepting me into your kingdom. Amen

Haughtiness and pride versus humility and meekness – What is winning?

An Emoji Devotions Sat 12th June 2021

Topic: Haughtiness and pride versus humility and meekness – What is winning?

Highlights:   Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud. (Proverbs 16: 18 – 19)

The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. (Proverbs 16:5)

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. (1. Peter 5: 6)

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

I never considered myself as proud or haughty and I guess that most people who know me would agree to that statement.

Publicly I gave myself as not judgmental and I would rather defend someone and tell the good sides of them, than to judge them according to my thinking. After all, a good pastor has to be merciful and compassionate and I felt quite good about myself. Standing before the Lord, however, he convicted me of pride and haughtiness, and of being merciless and highly judgmental.  How could that possibly be? What did I do wrong? Because I had different congregations, it was already a long time, since I was sitting under the preaching of somebody else and I found myself sitting there with a spirit of critique. I found his introduction pitiful, the points he was making, I perceived as week and his altar call as rather clumsy. In a whole, my judgement was that I could have made a better preaching to the same theme without any preparation. Although I did never speak it out, the Lord showed to me, how arrogant and proud I was, looking down on others with internal disdain. He reminded me that it is alone his gift to me that gives me an advantage over the brother I was internally belittling. I repented and the Lord began to show me a multitude of instances in which I did not honor the others above myself according to Romans 12:10 or Philippians 2:3 – 4. In fact, the Lord began to show to me how I was constantly judging others in traffic and in many other domains of my life. I was absolutely chocked and my satisfaction with myself was totally shattered. I found myself exactly as one of those, who see the speck in the eyes of others without the awareness of the plank in my own eyes. I am still learning to grow in humbleness.

Humility and meekness are the character traits of Jesus in his life on earth and we are to follow his footprints. His character is winning, whereas haughtiness and pride can so deceive us that we even might endanger our salvation. In any case it will be punished according to Proverbs, 16:5.

Brothers and Sisters let us fight to show the world around us, how humble and meek our Lord Jesus Christ is and how much he invites everybody to learn from him to find peace and rest for our souls.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, let me be humble, so that you can show me your favor. Please train me to love and live the same way you loved and lived your life among us.

Shout for joy to God, all the earth!

An Emoji Devotions for Fri, June 11 2021

Topic: Shout for joy to God, all the earth!

By H.U. Wenger

Highlights: Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me! (Psalm 66:20)

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. (Colossians 4:2)

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all under-standing, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4 – 7)

If you can make it, take the time to read Psalm 66 in its entirety. Often times the burdens of our lives put us so much down that shouts of joy seem impossible for us. By listening to the Psalmist we have to admit that he went through a lot that will not have provoked shouts of joy. Nevertheless he wants to shout, he wants to rejoice, he wants to glorify his wonderful Savior and Lord. His eyes are not on the dire difficulties, but on the excellent trouble shooter and helper, who is second to none and can do much more than we can think and dare praying for. He does not get joy and praise out of the predicaments he has been guided through. His praise and joy are born out of the marvelous experiences he has made with God. He never rejected his prayers and he never diverted his precious love from him. He has always proven bigger, stronger and way superior to every possible trouble that came his way.

We are not to rejoice in the circumstances of our lives. Much more we are to focus on the Lord for whom no calamity is a problem and with whom we get enabled to go through perceived difficulties, with a merry and joyful heart.

Years ago, I was in the middle of my theological studies and was preparing for my second Graecum. As a work student, I was always late in the evenings and at four o’ clock in the morning the clock reminded me to get up and translate the New Testament from Greek into German. On the particular morning I still remember, I was on the passage of Philippians 4, as I have cited above. I was sleepy; I was grumpy, full of self-pity and envy of my wife, who was fast asleep. The text: “Rejoice in the Lord …” provoked anger within me and I was very close to go back to bed. I would much rather have shown my anger to all than my gentleness. As I tried to translate on, it suddenly hit me that in a long time I had not done what the text invited to. So I began to pray, to lament to the Lord how much I am under pressure because of the upcoming exam. I thanked for the privilege to study; admitted how much I feel that the exam is over the top of my head and I pleaded for the help of the Lord. I cannot remember any more for how long I was in prayer, but as I went back to my desk, I was totally changed. My circumstances, which were actually quite hard, had not changed, but I felt peace, I felt joy and thankfulness. By turning away from the present givens of life and clinging to the Lord, the one and only giver of joy, peace and life, my soul got restored and healed.

Whether you are merry today or grumpy and envious as I was, turn your eyes to Jesus. If you manage to change your focus and your attitude today, I invite you together with Nehemiah, after Ezra had publicly read the law:  “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, help me to cling to you and to participate in your joy. Thank you that

Searching God

An Emoji Devotional for Thu, June 10 2021

Topic: Searching God

By H.U Wenger

Highlights: I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. (Psalm 119:10)

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. (Deuteronomy 6:5) This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. (Leviticus 19:18) All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. (Matthew 22:37 – 40)

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. (Compare John 14:15 – 21)

Nobody begins to search something without the knowledge or perception of having something lost. When God created man, he made them little lower than himself (Psalm 8) and he clothed them with his own glory, which gave them the destiny to live forever in his presence. Deplorably man sinned knowingly (Eve was deceived, Adam was not) and the glory of God, their being born of God, fell away from them and they found themselves naked and ashamed. They died out of the spiritual oneness with the Holy Trinity. Ecclesiastes 3:11 reminds us of the one thing that remained in the human heart: “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” The whole book of Ecclesiastes talks about the human awareness of the lost paradise. The key back to that land is to be born of God and that premonition makes us to search for our creator. Jesus himself encourages every human effort to approach God: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7 – 8)

Often times we are frustrated with God, because he did not react as we would have liked and we forget, that he is absolutely and totally good for us in all he does. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28) There is no other way to show our love for God than to be obedient to his word and to show love, mercy and compassion to our fellow human beings.

By living in our fallen estate, the Bible calls it living in the flesh, we will always fail in keeping God’s commands. We need Jesus as our Savior and the Holy Spirit as our strength and our guide.  “For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” If you do not know Jesus yet as your Lord and Savior, you may turn to him right now. Confess to him that you are a sinner and repent from all of your sins. Invite Jesus into your heart and give him the right to be the master and king of your life. In accepting him as your Lord and believing in him, you will be born again and what was lost in paradise comes back to you by faith and will come back to you by sight, when Christ himself will be revealed to the whole world as the king of kings and the Lord of all Lords.

Prayer: Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me. My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek. Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior. Amen (Psalm 27:7 – 9)

Searching for the adults – the wise

An Emoji Devotions for Wed, 9th of June 2021

Topic: Searching for the adults – the wise

By H.U. Wenger

In Jeremiah 8, 8 – 9 God asks through the prophet:  “How can you say, “We are wise, for we have the law of the Lord,” when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely? The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the word of the Lord, what kind of wisdom do they have?”

Highlights: Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. (James 3:13 – 18)

We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. (Hebrew 2:1)

Wisdom shows in adhering to the word of the Lord and in living out the character of Jesus Christ. As his followers our first task in life is to show his benevolent attitude to every human being according to his word. In our world, unfortunately even in the Christian world, we see way too much bossiness for personal power gain, which James calls demonic. In the times of Jeremiah the Jewish people took the word of God out of context and derived from the so constructed philosophy a divine privilege and right. Prophets stood up and announced good times ahead, whereas Jeremiah had to prophesy the upcoming judgement and doom based upon the word of the Lord.

From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit. They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. “Peace, peace,” they say, when there is no peace. Are they ashamed of their detestable conduct? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush. So they will fall among the fallen; they will be brought down when they are punished, says the Lord. (Jeremiah 8, 10b – 12) They think to be filled with wisdom and power and look down on Jeremiah and his followers as the immature, the fearful and deplorable. In first Corinthians 1: 18 – 31, Paul put wisdom and foolishness into the right light. Adhering to the word of the Lord and living it out as best as we can was, is and remains true wisdom. “For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.” (1. Corinthians 1:25)

Let us be truly wise and always return to the Lord and check whether our conduct depicts his character. Each time I am realizing that my wisdom does not match the wisdom from above according to James; I am called to repentance, to return to the Lord and to his word. Brothers and Sisters, I have to confess that it happens to me way too often. We are brain-washed by the attitude of this world who celebrates a “wisdom” that is earthly, unspiritual and demonic and therefore are in need to tune ourselves into the wisdom that comes down from heaven.

Prayer: Dear Father in heaven, I repent from foolishly being selfish, bossy and often unjust. Please fill me with your wisdom that comes from heaven and make me to a human being that depicts the character of your beloved son, Jesus Christ. Amen

Jonah, get real!

An Emoji Devotions The 8th June, 2021

Topic: Jonah, get real!

by H. U. Wenger

Highlights: Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 23:24)

Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139, 7 – 16)

I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’ The engulfing waters threatened me, the deep surrounded me; seaweed was wrapped around my head. To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit. “When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, Lord, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple.” Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them. (Jonah 2:4 – 8)

We all know the story of Jonah. He receives the word of the Lord to go to Nineveh to announce them God’s judgment, but Jonah runs away. He hates the Assyrians, who were well known as brutal warriors and oppressors. He is fully aware of his calling and of his prophetic authority. He knows that his preaching would cause the Assyrian to repentance and that their turning around would provoke God’s grace and mercy. The beginning of Chapter 4 reveals his heart: But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry. He prayed to the Lord, “Isn’t this what I said, Lord, when I was still at home? That is what I tried to forestall by fleeing to Tarshish. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity.

Now, Lord, take away my life, for it is better for me to die than to live.” Jonah knows that he got created by God for a time like this, but he lacks the love. He is craving for retaliation and revenge. He wants to see disaster pouring down on Israel’s enemies. The hatred in him and his anger over God’s love deceive him into his futile running away from God. On that journey he experiences not only the love and forgiveness of God and men, but also God’s wonderful grace and mercy in his spectacular salvation through a fish. His insight that those, who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them, has not yet changed his heart. What he enjoys for himself, he wants to deny to people he does not like. He rather wants to die himself than to witness God’s love for them. Isn’t it time for Jonah to get real? Isn’t it time for Jonah to allow the love of Jesus to enter his heart and to love his enemies? What grudges do I harbor in my heart?  What hinders the love of God to flow through me?

We all are created for a time like this. Let us not run away from our prophetic authority, but let our hearts be filled with the love of God, who craves salvation for every human being and for his whole creation.

Prayer: Dear God, let me cling to your word and fill my heart with your love. Beware me from being judgmental to the point that I am getting blind for grace and mercy. Let me rejoice over the salvation of my enemies and give me a double portion of love for them. Amen.

Strength to Stay Calm

An Emoji Devotions for Fri Jun 4, 2021

Topic: Strength to Stay Calm

Highlight:

The Lord is constantly watching everyone, and he gives strength to those who faithfully obey him. But you have done a foolish thing, and your kingdom will never be at peace again.

 2 Chronicles 16:9

May we not do a foolish thing in the sight of  God in Jesus name. When you forget things you heard and saw God did for you recently and in face of challenges take another route without His approval - Who does that? The Lord says, “If you love me and truly know who I am, I will rescue you and keep you safe.  When you are in trouble, call out to me. I will answer and be there to protect and honor you.  You will live a long life and see my saving power.”

Psalms 91:14‭-‬16

you should look up to God and you know for sure that when you face any challenges all you need is stay calm because The Lord is constantly watching. He does not sleep not slumber. Those who have done foolish things you may not be at peace again unless they find their way back home like the prodigal son. If you want to be at peace you need to pray for Strength to stay calm until God arise to help. "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" ... Matthew 8:26... For if the miracles I did for you had been done in wicked Sodom, it would still be here today. Matthew 11:23

It's good to be alert but God knows deep down inside if your intentions are right with him you won't panic - Hey everyone has the fear but Do not think it's what you see in the movies. It's different for those who have strong spirit of God. The wind may tear mountains and break rocks into pieces before the Lord, but the Lord is not in the wind and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord is not in the fire and after the fire a still small voice 1 Kings 19:11-13. It is only those who stay calm that will hear the "still small voice". Not the stormy heart only calmed heart.

Calm heart is like Heaven and Heaven is a place where sorrow never wander, where joy blooms and happiness ponders. If the heaven is truly inside of you then you must be calm. God is powerful and strong enough to fight your battles for you. From now on, receive strength to stay calm. Amen

Prayer: Heavenly father, I confirm that you are God and I would love to have a calm and confident heart. I pray for strength to stay calm always in Jesus name. Amen.

The Sister and Mother of Strength

An Emoji Devotional for Thu, June 3 2021

Topic: The Sister and Mother of Strength

Highlight:

Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.

Song of Songs 2:15 NIV

Strength has family members. On the stage today, I present you the strength and it's family. You will need them to catch the foxes that ruins your vineyard. Foxes doesn’t come and only eat the fruit of the vine–they do much more damage. They like to gnaw on the trunk, dig holes around it and expose the roots. They don’t simply eat the grapes, they like to destroy the entire vine!

Things like unresolved conflicts, addictions, negative mindsets and laziness are examples of foxes that ruins blossoming vineyards. We will need Strength and it's co to win the foxes of life.

Foxes are extremely smart and stubborn. They will watch you and your habits and learn when it is the safest to make an attack on your poultry and vineyard. But Strength alone cannot chase Foxes away, you need Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding to chase Foxes. Proverbs 4:7 says "Wisdom is supreme; so acquire wisdom. And whatever you may acquire, gain understanding." The  three sisters of Strength are Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding but the mother of them all is Vision. If you want to make a difference in the world today, you will need to have Vision also known as Divine Revelation or Divine Guidance. It will unravel the mystery behind chasing away foxes of life permanently.

The vision I am talking about is divine guidance. Proverbs 29:18 says that "When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful."

Do you know that anyone who is lead by divine guidance will work wonders because they have automatic wisdom, knowledge, understanding and strength combined. Foxes don't like urine. You will have to chase them away by urinating in their den(s) and off they will go far away from your vineyards. Strength alone is not enough to discover a solution. We must connect to the source of strength itself which is Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:13 says We can do all things through Christ that Strengthens us.

Our default mindset is one of defence and self-protection. But we do have to "Trust in the LORD with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding; Proverbs 3:5. When we obey and meditate on divine laws written in the Holy Bible, we will have good success through Divine Guidance. Joshua 1:8.

Prayer: Help, O LORD, Give me divine guidance in Jesus name. Amen

Strength of spiritual decency

An Emoji Devotions for Wed, June 2, 2021

Topic: Strength in Spiritual Decency

Highlight:

She came and grabbed him by his cloak, demanding, “Come on, sleep with me!” Joseph tore himself away, but he left his cloak in her hand as he ran from the house. Genesis 39:12

Do not copy the way others behave on internet. When you go to forums, videos, social media you will see them saying and doing things indecently all because of likes and comments. Though they speak foul languages with indecent lifestyles and got more followers for it - Do not think they do go Scott free. Our Lord Jesus Christ talked about attention seekers in Matthew 6:2 that temporary happiness is their reward and Afterwards they get depressed because they may not get enough attention as they expect from God. Luke 18:14.

There is strength in decency most especially spiritual decency. Spiritual Decency is behaviour that conforms to accepted standards of morality or respectability before God and men even when people are not there looking at you. Although Joseph was a vibrant man, he chose to run away from sin of fornication even when no one was looking. That is decency. The strength decency gave him was trust and good records before God. It might not be fornication, it might be other indecent lifestyle, you should run away from it.  Do you know that God forbid gambling in Psalm 15? You should Google search your Bible more often to get answers to real life questions Matthew 7:7.

What will happen when God trust you because of your decent lifestyle? He will elevate you to take over big things and enter into everlasting happiness (Read Matthew 25:21). You cannot manage God's given talent with indecent lifestyles, it will always flop and you will not know why. The reason is because God is Holy. and decent. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16) which simply means you must be spiritually decent Hebrews 12:14. Decency is very important in life and it is better to start living out early so that you will be able to cope. (see 1 Samuel 26:25).

Some people do not know that bad behavior are indecent lifestyles because no one has ever explained it to them before. Please check Galatians 5:19-21 to see more examples of indecent behaviors shortlisted.

In Job 31:1 Job said “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look with lust at a young woman." The strength of this decency trait was also part of what lead to his restoration. Miraculously, spiritual decency can lead to restoration of deteriorating health conditions back to full healthy life. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8. Decency does not have two name, you cannot adjust it. It's Either you are spiritually decent or not. Even you yourself can be the judge when you look at your life and honestly ask if you are spiritually decent or not. Read different Bible stories to learn more. Cultivate the habit of reading your Bible from now on to build on this important topic. God loves spiritually decent people. Act 4:13.

Prayer: Heavenly father please give me grace and mercy to be spiritually decent in your eyes. In Jesus name. Amen

Divine Strength

An Emoji Devotions for Tue, 1st of June 2021

Topic: Divine Strength

Highlight:

So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God. 1 Kings 19:8

Keep walking. Do not stop your journey, you are yet to reach your destination. If you do not have enough strength do not blame yourself. Ask for strength. It is the will of God for you to be strong. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; it is not an ordinary strength that can complete these extraordinary task. According to Matthew 16:17, Flesh and blood prohibit divine ideas to depend on God for support. In the Lord's prayer our Lord Jesus instruct us to say: "Give us today our daily bread" in Matthew 6:11 because when you depend on God for everything especially food, then you would have truly received the consciousness of father and child relationship between you and God who will give you His Holy Spirit to help you. Do not forget  this topic is all about divine strength. Yes, divine strength comes from divine dependency which means you depend on God for everything. Isaiah 40:31 says "but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.."

If you are a kind of person that trust and hope in God for help before and is now wondering how to tap into divine Strength, Do not go too far, you just begin to acknowledge the things you have received from God in the past through faith based thanksgiving. By so doing will exert the visibility of God's presence into your life. Remember some of those things you have forgotten and say "Dear Heavenly Father I acknowledge and I'm thanking you for what happened yesterday's afternoon".  That is a good example of making use of Divine Strength and another one is "Dear Heavenly I am seeking your assistance on this matter, let your will be done concerning them in the name of Jesus. Amen"

Finally, The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. Proverbs 18:10. Remember Philippian 2:10 that that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. Consider these things when thinking about divine strength. Even princes may fail and forget their promises"...for not by might shall a man prevail." But in the name of the Lord almighty, the God of the armies of Isreal, you will prevail. 1Sam 17:45 Amen

Prayer: Dear God, honestly you are my Father. I respect and acknowledge the name of Jesus you gave to me to ask anything in your will. I am also thankful for your Holy Spirit. Please strengthen me today In Jesus name Amen.
