Falling Short of Glory

An Emoji Devotions for Fri 30th April, 2021

Topic: Falling Short of Glory

Highlight:

Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?" John 11:40

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23

If the Gospel has not been preached to you before today you might not be aware of the possibility of obtaining salvation from God; We all need to understand that salvation through Jesus Christ leads us to glory, deliverance and redemption from God. In John 20:29b Our Lord Jesus said .... blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." because believing in God is to be blessed to see his glory. The approval and blessing of God is on the one who have faith in His Son, trusts His Word of truth, and believes the Holy Scriptures.

How have we then fell short of the great beauty, prestige and glory of God? If you have been missing in action of God's glory its because we have not believe in Jesus His son  by trusting in His word. Our Lord Jesus Christ said "if you love me, you will keep my commands And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. John 14:15-16. You can not obey someone you don't trust. And once you act in your own way somehow you will miss the the glory of God. There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:12

It is promised that those who believe and rely on Him will see his glory. Keep your Trust and obedience in Him alone for there's no other way. To be happy in the completeness of life, you need trust and obey the word of God. This is the truth, 1 Samuel 15:22b says "To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams."

It is a blessing to anyone who wish to see the glory of God who believe in the son of God that they will have everlasting life. John 3:16 As you keep believing, the glory will become bigger like the day gets clearer. Your unshakable faith in Jesus is your way up to glory. Keep having it.

Prayer: Almighty God, I beg you for grace and mercy to believe and trust in you for the rest of my life. Give me grace of total obedience to your words and make me dwell in your glory forever. In Jesus name. Amen

Flip your trust to God in Prayer

An Emoji Devotions for This, 29 Apr 2021

Topic: Flip your trust to God in Prayer

Highlight: And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. Ephesians 6:18

To flip or turn over your trust to the other side through prayer means you are calling for help. That's God's telephone number. Connect with Praise and tell God that He mean a lot to you. When you call someone on the phone for assistance how do you do it? You first greet  and ask about their welfare and afterwards make a request to them if they have time to listen to story surrounding the circumstance of the assistance you need. What is the idea?  God made us in His own image and we have to reach out to him in reverence and awareness that we are talking to the Almighty God. Then we need to cherish and regard him more in our conversation. It is a rare opportunity, yet God have not given us the spirit of fear and timidity. It is important that we should not be afraid to speak our mind intelligibly in the front of our maker. Hebrews 4:16 says "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most."

When you are flipping your trust to God in prayer it is very important first you close your inner eyes to distractons and you are not making your requests for selfish reasons. The last part of our Bible Highlight told us to always pray for God's people. When you do so - This will prove to God that you are after the wellness of His Kingdom and righteousness. Matthew 6:33 and that you do not worry too much about your basic needs as you trust that God will take care of them. You would have successfully flipped your trust if you let the Spirit of God to lead you. It is very important to pray in the spirit always with all kinds of prayer request.

As for me I think we should praise God more and make our request little because Psalms 147:5 says Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.

Prayer: Lord I am flipping my trust over to you in prayers please accept me by your mercy and do great and wonderful things for me in Jesus name. Amen.

I don't want to be an ordinary Christian

An Emoji Devotions for Wed 28 April, 2021

Topic: I don't want to be an ordinary Christian.

Highlight:

God was performing extraordinary miracles by Paul’s hands, Act 19:11

It is important that a Christian showcase success in their ministry. This is what they will use to testify about the Lord to others. Jesus said in John 4:48 that "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will never believe." Even the angels in heaven in Revelation 12:11 triumphed over the devil by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. What is a testimony? It is the evidence or proof of something. Only extraordinary Christians has their proof and evidence that they are genuinely saved. It is a good thing to be able to confirm and demonstrate your Christianity to others. I prayed to the Lord this morning "O Lord I don't want to be ordinary Christian" because I want to have evidence and proof that I am child of God. What are the evidences of your salvation since you were born again?

Matthew 5:14 says "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden." The transformation of Divine grace should be visible in our lives and people should see and request we should pray for them is a good sign testimony on its own. When you can talk to a bad man or woman to change their ways and they are spiritually convinced to do so shows that you are extraordinary. In Act 4:16 a question was asked by the opposition: What are we to do with these men? For the fact that an extraordinary miracle has taken place through them is public knowledge and clearly evident to all the residents of Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. That is an undeniable testimony!

Let me add this conclusion, Romans 12:11 says "Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;" A child of God who is diligent in their occupation and blessed like our father Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, likewise fervent in the fire of Holy Ghost and serving the Lord is an extraordinary Christian.  As we can see in Act 19:11 "God was performing extraordinary miracles by Paul’s hands". Let us start moving towards achieving a great goal in the name of Jesus. Think about it, as Christian, Whatever you are today is not for you but for Jesus. Pray to be extraordinary Christian from now on.

Prayer: Father Almighty, Make me an  extraordinary Christian from now on and fill me with Holy Ghost fire with proof and evidence in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Greediness Kills (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

An Emoji Devotions for Monday 27th April, 2021

Topic: Greediness Kills (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

Highlight: Abram lived in the land of Canaan. But Lot lived among the cities in the Jordan Valley. He moved very near to Sodom. Genesis 15:12

There were fights among Abraham and Lots men because the land where they were tending their animals could not support them anymore Genesis 13:6 Abraham had to end the dispute in a peaceful way. In order to resolve the conflict, Abraham offers Lot to go separate, in order to prevent the fight, and he grants Lot with the right to be the first among the two to pick the territory he desires. Lot accepts the peace deal, for the Partition of the Land, and chooses the area of the plain of the Jordan – in the area including Sodom. Lot made a bad choice because of greed.

First sign that God wants Lot out of Sodom was the battle of Siddim Genesis 14:12 They took Lot, Abram’s nephew who was living in Sodom. The enemy also took everything he owned. Then they left. in verse 16 Abraham learned that Lot was captured and led his men to chase the enemy. Then Abram brought back everything the enemy had stolen. Abram brought back the women and the other people. And he also brought back Lot and everything Lot owned. But Lot remained in Sodom because of Greed.

The Bible mentions that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for their sins, haughtiness, egoism, and homosexuality.  Even when God tells Abraham that he will spare the "wicked" of city of Sodom if he can find just 10 righteous people in it. Two angels went to investigate but could not find up to ten righteous people in that land.

Bottom line, when the thirst for greediness leads someone astray, there is nothing intercession would do to save. In the end, Lot lost everything including his family. He went out of Sodom empty.  His two daughters got him drunk and took canal knowledge of Lot to make babies for their father. Genesis 19:36

If you are greedy for money and pleasure,  you must slow down and repent immediately  because it Kills with intense destruction.

Prayer: Father Lord please deliver me from the step of greediness that leads to destruction in Jesus name. Amen.

When Jesus appeared on the Scene

An Emoji Devotions for Sat, 24 April, 2021

Topic: When Jesus appeared on the Scene

Highlight: but when they saw him walking on the water, they cried out in terror, thinking he was a ghost. Mark 6:49

So soon, there's someone reading this message that God is going to give one breakthrough that will cancel all their failures in Jesus name. John 10:10 says The thief purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. Jesus said In My Father's house there are many mansions. Thank you Father in heaven that Jesus is Rich and powerful in heaven. By the Anointing of Holy Spirit in those who believe in Him they succeed effortlessly in their ministry that even after thousands years they are still relevant today. Our God will not deceive us because forever His word is settled. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it. Mark 16:20 If you want anything, it is good to tell it to Jesus. When Jesus appears on your scene, you will never know failure, you will always be at the top. You will succeed and you will never know sorrow. Jesus is solution to all problems, be it at the individual or national level. He gives hope to life. If you want to be relevant in life, you must call Jesus to appear in every scene of your life. He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. Revelations 22:20

Jesus will come back into this world as he promised, There will be heaven on Earth. There will be a new heaven and a new Earth.  You have invite abundant Life into your life when you bring Jesus to the scenes of your life today. If you are not born again then you are missing out as you must give your life to Jesus and confess Him as your Lord and savior to bring him into everything that concerns you from now on. Call Jesus into your life issues today.

Prayer: Lord Jesus I invite you to come into scene of my world. Come in to scene of my life. Please Lord come, I need you now. Amen

From Nazareth with Love

An Emoji Devotional for Fri 23 April, 2021

Topic: From Nazareth with Love

Highlight:

And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. Act 10:38

It was like a joke to the Chief Priest, the Sanhedrin and the Roman empire when the humble King of Kings entered into Jerusalem, the Capital city of Isreal on a Sunday sitting on a donkey. Women and Children were singing Hosanna in the highest, blessed be he who comes in the name of the Lord. People laid their clothes on the ground to welcome divine King. That day was filled with thrilling moments as people laid Palm fronts on the ground. The day prophecy was fulfilled in people's very own eyes. That very day, money changers were chased out of the synagogue in the priests very own eyes. They were told to give Cesar what belongs to Cesar and to Give God what belongs to God. An expression citing that God will take back His temple from the government of man. It was that same night, sacrificial death was made for the sin of humanity. The temple authority was taken away from the imperialist empire, and now given to each and everyone of us. Jesus came to defeat the enemy of our soul. He made His journey to the cross and then to the grave and then to hell and he Swallowed death in victory to give you and me eternal life. Hallelujah - 1 Cor 15:54

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. Starting with invasion of heavenly government to create a new testament on the world. God is taking back everyone in the world through love of His Son Jesus. A savior  from Nazareth is sharing heavenly Love to you and me.  Receive God's love today!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, please remember me in your Kingdom. I pray in your name. Amen

A new Branch bearing fruit from old root

An Emoji Devotions for Thu, 22nd April 2021

Topic: A new Branch bearing fruit from old root

Highlight:

Out of the stump of David’s family will grow a shoot— yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root. Isaiah 11:1

In yesterday's Devotional we discussed that “Even a tree has more hope! If it is cut down, it will sprout again and grow new branches." Job14:7 Praise be to the Lord today we are  talking about "A new Branch bearing fruit from an old root." Isaiah 11:1. Ladies and Gentlemen, If you know what favour of having Jesus Christ living in you could do, you will not be afraid of having him inside of you for the rest of your life neither would you be fascinated by the things of the world anymore. Christ is “a hope,” as He is “a life,” that is, the ground of sure and certain hope of the future even for a hopeless situation. If you are born again through Jesus, you can never be in bondage of hopelessness because there is always hope for you in Christ. It is a mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory Colossians 1:27. It is not hard to explain to those with understanding of God's word.

He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?".... After a tree has been cut and felled, the stump or tree stump is usually a small remaining portion of the trunk with the roots still in the ground. Stumps (both those on the ground and stumps of removed branches) are sometimes able to regenerate into new trees. .. I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know." Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, `Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.  Ezekiel 37:3-5

I do not know what you are passing through but When you stay connected to Jesus Christ, you will survive that situation, grow and bear fruits again. It may take time but there's hope for you. You must believe there's hope for you and Jesus is the only hope. Do not ask questions anymore but begin to find answers in Jesus hope today because the journey of fruitfulness is just yet to begin. Be hopeful!

Prayer: Lord I heard about you that you are the only hope I have and that hope is possible even in the midst of deadly situations. I prophesy hope into my life in Jesus name. Let my hope in you bring me out of hopeless situations from now on in Jesus name. Amen

There's Hope for A Tree

An Emoji Devotions for Wed, 21 April 2021

Topic : There's Hope for A Tree

Highlight:

At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. Job 14:7

Our Lord Jesus Christ proved to us that resurrection is possible and a man could be born again. The question is "Do you believe in Future?" There is a sentimental saying that there's no one born of human who does not have an enemy. When a tree is cut down, it's enemy has done an harm to prevent it from flourishing. But a tree, if cut down, might spring up again and flourish; You as a person must believe that there's Hope for you.

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; which means a bright future is possible and there is a second chance for anyone who believes in God. It is about a journey of hope and when you are walking a journey of hope, you will have to live differently. That is why Jesus replied Nicodemus, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." Through Jesus Christ there is possibility of second chance and it is only through him we can be born again. We are permitted to enjoy life through Jesus and not the way the media portrays it. Jesus died and rise again and so you too can rise again if you have faith and hope in Christ. His teachings are in the Bible to guide us how we can live a hopeful life. You must believe in the future. There is ressurection for you. You will be very beautiful. Hope in God through Jesus today. Confess and accept him as your Lord and savior today. There is hope for you.

Prayer: Have mercy on my soul Lord Jesus. Give me a second chance and help me to believe in hope and to love what you are doing in my life.

When things fall apart.

An Emoji Devotions for Tue, 20th April, 2021

Topic: When things fall apart.

highlight: The Lord, the God of Israel, says some of you are keeping things he commanded you to destroy. You will never defeat your enemies until you throw away those things. Joshua 7:13b

Dear reader, you have come come to see if this is good news. I bet you did not make a mistake. When a man catch his loving wife cheating, he becomes disappointed and the power for wife to convince the husband about love that exist becomes uneasy. No one is perfect, He can take many things but cannot take cheating. Who is to be blamed? A river that stopped flowing or the hindrance blocking the river. When you go in the place of prayer complaining that there is no more water while the hindrance blocking the river from flowing is standing in front of you. You are keeping things that God commanded you to destroy, then He begins to wonder when you pray about it. There should be no mercy for what God's spirit has rejected. This is different from sin, this is an abomination.  Achan A man from the tribe of Judah was stoned for hiding forbidden things in the ground of his tent. Joshua said, “Why have you brought this trouble on us? The Lord will bring trouble on you today.” Joshua 7:25a

Do you now get it? Prayer alone cannot save  until we identify the stumbling block and remove it. If its a sin, it is different but if it is called abomination, then it is trouble. Whatever it is, you must call Jesus for help to reveal it to you before it's too late and once you know the abomination, remove it from your life with no second thought.

If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ. It is only Jesus that can save you from abomination through His Power and Holy Spirit. Believe, Accept and confess him as your Lord today.  Amen

Prayer: Lord please pardon me and do not let abomination ruin my blessings. Reveal the abomination in my life to me and give me the courage and capacity to remove them with immediate strength in Jesus name. Amen.

Swear Your Allegiance to God

An Emoji Devotions for Mon, 19th April, 2021

Topic: Swear Your Allegiance to God

Highlight:

The time will come when the skies are shut up tightly and no rain falls because your people sinned against you. When they direct their prayers toward this place, renew their allegiance to you, and turn away from their sin because you punish them, 1Kings 8:35

"I pledge to God my father, to be faithful, loyal and honest, to serve Jesus with all my strength, so help me God. Amen"

The statement above is an example of allegiance. Have you any? First what is allegiance? An oath of allegiance is an oath whereby a subject or citizen acknowledges a duty of allegiance and swears loyalty to God. Do you know that the Kingdom of heaven has its constitution and the day you are born again, you have said bye bye to sin. You have become the temple of God. A child of God is not supposed to commit fornication or steal. 1 Corinthians 6:18 tells us to "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body." There are many other things listed in Galatians 5:19-21 which a child of God must run away from.

"The result of sin’s control in our lives is clear. It includes sexual immorality, impurity and wild living, worshiping false gods, doing witchcraft, hating, making trouble, being jealous, being angry, being selfish, making people angry with each other, causing divisions among people, having envy, being drunk, having wild and wasteful parties, and doing other things like this. I warn you now as I warned you before: Those who do these things will not be in God’s kingdom."

When a child of God becomes irresistibly attracted to sin. He or she must repent and renew allegiance otherwise they will be cast out of the kingdom. The Lord was angry with Solomon because he had shifted his allegiance away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him on two occasions. 1Kings 11:19 May God be merciful unto our soul.

If you are far away from God, you need to find your way back to God like the prodigal son immediately so that God can be Happy with you - Luke 15:32 because outside the kingdom is an outer darkness. Anyone, then, who knows the right thing to do, yet fails to do it, is guilty of sin. James 4:17 Renew your allegiance back to God today.

Prayer: Lord Jesus It is not over between us. I am renewing my allegiance to you by pledging to love you with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my strength. I will be faithful, loyal and honest.  So help me Lord in Jesus name. Amen

Stolen Water

An Emoji Devotions for Sat, 17th April 2021

Topic: Stolen Water

Highlight:

“Stolen water is sweet, and bread eaten secretly is tasty!” Proverbs 9:17

Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well. Proverbs 5:15

Enough of wrong conclusions when you are lonely. Say to yourself God is with me. God loves everybody, but whoever lacks common sense will fail. Such person will enter into the realm of the inexperienced making expensive jokes calling wise fools. They know nothing and are only wise for their own benefit. Stolen Water is sweet in their mouth but for how many days will it last long? All humans are living beings carried away with excitement of vain things but the chosen few are taught by divine wisdom as "the wise shall inherit glory, But shame shall be the legacy of fools." Proverbs 3:35

No questions at all for Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful,  for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers,  for they will be called children of God.  Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3-10

Instruct a wise man, and he will be wiser still;
teach a righteous man, and he will learn more. What about the stolen water? You may have your reason to remain confused if you are an unbeliever. This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth and says, 'I've done nothing wrong.' Jesus is calling Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. John 17:37

Prayer: Lord please wash me and I will be clean, please purge me and I will be whiter than snow. Give me the living water from new Jesusalem in the name of Jesus. Amen

God is Coming, Wait for Him

An Emoji Devotions for Fri 16th April, 2021

Topic: God is Coming, Wait for Him

Highlight:

David prayed to the Lord. This time the Lord told David, “Don’t attack the Philistines from the front. 2 Sam 5:23a

But the Lord God called to the man. The Lord said, “Where are you?” Genesis 3:9

It's true that God would have come up with a better plan in the garden of Eden if Adam had waited some more time before allowing the cunning serpent tempt him to eat the forbidden fruit. On that fateful day, God is coming with good news asking Adam "where are you?" but it's a pity that the excitement in the nature of man got him into rash decisions before the arrival of God. He really wants to test the magic of the fruit and he fell in an irreversible manner. We all have been infected with excitement, only few waits for God. Matthew 22:14.  Similar incident happened when Samuel asked, “What have you done?”(to Saul).

Saul answered, “I saw the soldiers leaving me, and you were not here. The Philistines were gathering at Micmash. Then I thought, ‘The Philistines will come against me at Gilgal. And I haven’t asked for the Lord’s approval.’ So I forced myself to offer the whole burnt offering.” Samuel said, “You acted foolishly! You haven’t obeyed God’s command. If you had obeyed him, God would make your kingdom continue in Israel forever. But now your kingdom will not continue 1 Sam 13:11-14a Maybe this could have been Adam, His power could have been forever divine and matchless to other Spirit being if he had held on while the Serpent attempted to tempt him.  (Read Psalm 8:5) He could have waited for God to come and report the Serpent to God but chose to eat the forbidden fruit.  Things would have been different.

Those who fail to wait for God will miss the opportunity. Inability to Wait made a prophet like John the Baptist in doubt to ask Jesus "are you the one to come or we should wait for another (Luke 7:22). Why wait for another when you can believe in Jesus as your savior today. He is standing at the door of your heart knocking. Rev 3:20. If you are not carried away with excitement of this world, you will see as people are walking with Jesus daily and he's giving them eternal life.

I have read about one man called David, He is a man after God's heart. He's always praying and waiting for God. In Psalm 27:13-14 He said "I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD."

As for me too, I know that God is coming for me, I will wait for Him through Jesus Christ my Lord. Confess Jesus as your Lord today and receive the Holy Spirit. Amen

Prayer: God I'm sorry for all my over excitement that has lead me astray. I may not know the next temptation but I pray for Divine grace to wait for you till you come and find me worthy. in Jesus name Amen

You are Among the Trinity

An Emoji Devotions for Thu, 15th April 2021

Topic: You are among the Trinity

Highlight:

God raised Jesus from death. And if God’s Spirit is living in you, then he will also give life to your bodies that die. God is the One who raised Christ from death. And he will give life through his Spirit that lives in you.

You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Romans 8:11 and Matthew 5:38

God is my Creator, Jesus is my Savior, The Holy Spirit is my Guide. God created me in His image, Jesus came with His perfect blood to wash me from my sinful stain. The Holy Spirit now dwells in the inside of me. Is this your story? If this story is the same for you, then you are among the Trinity. Our Lord Jesus said "that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me." John 17:21

When you gave your life to Jesus Christ, you became the temple Jesus Christ has spoken. Temples of God's Holy Spirit divine. Since when you you have believed, it has been promised that all who received pardon for sin will surely be cleansed and be turned into a refined nature for them to be thrilled and  filled with power from divine. Are you aware of this?  That you can be lead by His Spirit and kept by His hand to dwell in God's sunshine and also feed others with Manna from above?

You are not an ordinary person anymore, you are God’s “chosen generation”, his “royal priesthood”, his “holy nation”, his “peculiar people”—all the old titles of God’s people now belong to you. It is for you now to demonstrate the goodness of him who has called you out of darkness into his amazing light. In the past you were not “a people” at all: now you are the people of God. In the past you had no experience of his mercy, but now it is intimately yours. 1 Peter 2 : 9 -10 You are among the Trinity.

Prayer: Holy Trinity, I praise you God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Thank you for making me part of your family. I am fully aware of my great potential. Help me to use it right to the maximum. In Jesus name. Amen.

God can rise like the stars for you

An Emoji Devotions for Wed 14 April 2021

Topic: God can rise like the stars for you

Highlights:

But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again.
They will be able to rise up as an eagle in the sky.
They will run without needing rest.
They will walk without becoming tired. Isaiah 40:31

When God become a rising star for you, there will be a promotion to higher level in your life. There are some people who God wants to bless but they need to open up. Let's say for example someone whom God is planning to make to a multimillionaire but is lazy. Take a look at the highlighted verse and you will see that people who trust God are strong. Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Samuel are strong. When they rise, it goes in a acceleration of an eagle to the sky. This is not about trusting God alone but it's about opening up a platform for God to perform wonders. Thses people are never consumed with tiredness of waking up to start another life's battle to prepare a ground for divine action.

Do you see the widow of Zarephat, She was surviving by God's grace in times of famine till it was her last meal and God sent the prophet Prophet Elijah to her home. The prophet asked for water and food, but the one she had was the one she wants to eat with her son and died but she obeyed the servant of Most High God and prepared their last for him. Afterwards God did a miracle for their family. Their jar of flour was not used up and their jug of oil never run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’” 1 Kings 17:15

Where God has begun work for grace, he will perfect it, provided you open up and follow up by faith. There is a promise for everyone of us in the Bible and when you pick it up and follow it up,God will turn into a rising super star for you.  "When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person." Job 22:29

Prayer: In Jesus name, My father I am grateful to you that you are interested to star in my life's expectations. I pray that you give me the surface that you can breathe your life and establish me as your holy mountain unto yourself in Jesus name. Amen

Can I pray and believe someone into life eternal?

An Emoji Devotions for Mon, 12 April, 2021

Topic: Can I pray and believe someone into life eternal?

By Hans Ulrich Wenger

Highlights: When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!” (Mark 2:5; 10–12)

In the Gospel of Mark we read a very astonishing story. Jesus was in Capernaum healed people and preached the Gospel. Same brave men wanted to bring a paralyzed friend, carried by four,  to Jesus, but Jesus was in the house and around the house was a big crowd gathered. It was impossible for them to enter the house. So the four men climbed on to the roof of the house, heaved the man up, opened the roof and lowered him down into the house in front of Jesus’ feet.

As the man never says a word in the whole story, it may well be that even his speech was paralyzed. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Now wait a minute. Has not everyone to repent for himself? What is Jesus saying here? But this was not the only question in the room. Now, some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, “Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking these things? Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’?Everybody in the crowd knew that Jesus question could not be really answered, as both words are not in man’s competence. With his action Jesus made, however clear that it is never wrong to care for a beloved person.  The group of man, cared for the paralyzed fellow, they believed for him and they acted decisively for him. Jesus sees that and he acknowledges it immediately. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”

This is encouraging! How many people have prayed for loved ones, have believed for them and acted for them, but never saw a result. Often times I encounter people, who are disappointed with prayers because of this. The person they prayed for, they believed for, they cared for so much and they brought  before Jesus every day, suddenly passed away and it seemed as everything would have been in vain. Do not think like that. The story of the paralyzed man does show us that there is a chance. Therefore carry on with your prayers and believe on. I am thinking of that single mother whose son did not find his inner peace in life. He kept being thrown back and forth. Since he was born, the mother prayed for him, believed for him and she brought him before the throne of grace every single day. As the boy was thirty one years old he committed suicide, because of an unfulfilled love. The mother was devastated, but the extraordinary story from Mark 2, has restored her hope and her faith. Finally Jesus makes clear that he has the power to forgive sins, by healing the paralyzed man and to show to the crowd that for God nothing is impossible. Jesus said then to the crowd: But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”We may not understand it, but we know that his ways are higher than ours and his thoughts are way greater and bigger than our thoughts. (Isaiah 55: 8 – 9)

Prayer: Heavenly Father, let me be a person who cares for my beloved ones, who prays for them, who believes for them and who acts for them, if necessary. Thank you that you honor my faith.

Nurtured like newborn babies

Today's Devotional

An Emoji Devotions for Sun 11 April, 2021

Topic: Nurtured like newborn babies

By H. U. Wenger

Highlights: Like newborn babies, (quasi modo geniti infants) crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. (1. Peter 2:2 – 3)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 1. Peter 1:3 – 6)

In the old church and in the church year even now, todays Sunday is called “quasi modo geniti infants”, like newborn babies. Babies crave nourishment, but there is not much available that could feed them and make them grow. The reflex to suckle from the breast of the mama is inborn to them. Peter praises God that he has given us a new birth through the resurrection of Christ Jesus. Now, as we became newborn babies in Christ, we need nourishment to grow. Growth is, however, not all we need. We have to learn how to crawl, how to walk, how to behave and how to act in the new life.

The only nourishment that can bring us forward is the word of God, is the Holy Bible. As I was a child, able to read, it was even for kids unthinkable to go to the worship service without having the own Bible on them. Everybody was asked to read, reflect and examine, whether the speaker was preaching the truth. I must confess that I did not do much searching of the scriptures, but at least I did read the given passages of scripture on my own. Evangelistic preaching is unfortunately often times geared to call people to a decision for Christ, but it does not do enough to teach the newborn Christians that everything they need in the new life flows out of scripture. Scripture is the only pure spiritual milk and without enough of it we succumb to retarded, malnourished and distorted followers of Christ who will often much more react according to generally accepted rules of society than according to the resurrection power of Christ.

We are born into a living hope through the resurrection of Christ Jesus. The living hope is nothing else but the resurrected Jesus himself. In his earthly life, he only said what he heard the Father say, and he only did what he saw the Father do. Before he left to take his place at the right side of the Father, he told us at least twice: “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” (John 20, 21 compare John 17, 18) He oriented himself on the Father and we must orient us on him, if we want to be his children and his disciples. When you are suffering on a unfulfilled life, when you are missing the resurrection power in your daily routine, just turn to studying scripture and begin to live out, whatever scripture tells you. Do not consider what your society or your congregation thinks. Do what you feel compelled to do according to scripture.

However, do consider that you are born into a living hope and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. Gods’ way to nurture you and me is through his scripture. It is the nourishment we need to grow strong and which enables us to truly be his followers as salt of the earth and as light of the world. By following him like he followed his Father, we will become more and more the city on the hill. The world has become a dark place, full of evil. What God has declared as good, is called bad and what he designated as evil is called bad. In this situation we need to let our light shine, brighter and clearer than ever.

 Therefore let us crave pure

spiritual milk and proclaim the glory of God with our lives. Good is the Lord – good and full of life is the word of the Lord because his word is he himself. (John 1, 1 – 5)

Prayer: Father I praise you for your provision, for your goodness, for your love and for your mercy. Open the scriptures to me so that I may grow and become stronger in you. Make true for me what you promise in John 7:38: “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” Amen.

Cure for the burden of my age

An Emoji Devotions for Sat, 10th April 2021

Topic: Cure for the burden of my age

By H.U Wenger

Highlights: Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2. Corinthians 4:16 – 18)

Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone (Psalm 71, 9)

Apostle Paul and his companions go through such big troubles in Asia that they think about their own demise. “We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.” (2. Corinthians 1:8 – 9) God miraculously saves them and Paul exclaims in the second chapter: “But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.” (2. Corinthians 2:14) Christ has won all the battles and the apostle knows himself as a part of his triumph and considers it a privilege to suffer with Christ. Every suffering and every trouble is for him not only a difficulty or bad luck, but as well a possibility for the revelation of Christ’s glory.

“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. (2. Corinthians 4, 8 – 11)

The writer of Psalm 71 lives with a similar attitude, even if he is more concerned about his old age, he makes very clear that he trusts the Lord unwaveringly and that above all, he wants to praise his faithfulness. “In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. … From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you. … My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long. Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone. For my enemies speak against me; those who wait to kill me conspire together. … As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long— though I know not how to relate them all.

I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone. … Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once more. I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel. My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you— I whom you have delivered. My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long, for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion.”

Paul and the writer of Psalm 71 are not occupied with their own lives, but rather with the glory of God. Every age has its own challenges that are unescapable. We can get lost in turning around ourselves, or we can thrive by concentrating on the bigger truth, on the giver of life and of his might and glory.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, let me concentrate on your kingdom and its righteousness so that I can minimize the concerns and the sorrows about my sufferings and challenges of my little life.

Adopted into eternal salvation – do you trust it?

Topic: Adopted into eternal salvation – do you trust it?

By H. U. Wenger

Highlights: But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” (Isaiah 43, 1 – 2)

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (Romans 8, 31 – 32)

In the Gospel of John, chapter three, Jesus explains to the Pharisee Nicodemus that everybody who wants to get into the kingdom of heaven must be born again. In chapter 1 of the same Gospel John makes clear that whosoever receives Jesus and believes in his name, has the right to become a child of God, born of God, and that means born again. In the Old Testament God has always searched for the children of Israel. With accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we spiritually become seed of Abraham and with that a non-Jewish Jew. This is exactly why the promise of Isaiah 43 applies for you and me. But, do I believe it? How many times do we fear human beings, cooperations, judgment of society and much more? How easily do we fear to not be enough, to be inferior and deficient? And yes, without being HIS child, I am weak, not enough and deficient, but he redeemed me with his father, he created me in his image, he knows me by my name and he explicitly assures me that I belong to him. I am one of his genial thoughts and he created me for exactly the time within which he has put me into being. He has made me wonderful and special and all my days were written in his book long before any one of these days came into being. He does not promise me a life free o suffering and trouble, but he promises to me that no challenge will be able to destroy me. Therefore: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41, 10) Could we wish for a better new family?

As we turn the focus to ourselves we are feeding disbelieve. By turning our eyes to Christ according to Hebrew 12, 2 we are building up our belief and trust together with anticipation of the future joy. : “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” We need to firmly hold to the promises God has given us in the same way that Jesus trusted the promises the Father had given him. Doubts are a distraction from the fact that we cannot find any life outside of Christ Jesus and with that an open door for back sliding into sin. Jesus has achieved a prefect victory and therefore the only thing that can be against us are defeated entities, that must flee before the God given faith and its power. Therefore, let us rejoice and move forward as participants of his glorious victory!

Prayer: Dear God, let me never forget that you have accepted me as your child through the sacrifice of your son, Christ Jesus. Thank you that you are my Father through him. I repent of all wavering thoughts and thank you that you remain my Father forever. I long to see the glory of your salvation with my eyes and I thank you for the powerful faith you have given me.

Adam, where are you? Man, woman, where are you

An Emoji Devotions for Thu, 8 April 2021

Topic: Adam, where are you? Man, woman, where are you?

By H.U Wenger

Highlights: But the Lord called to the man: “Where are you?” He answered: “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.” (Genesis 3:9 – 10)

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. (Hebrew 4:13)Adam and Eve lived in the best possible environment, surrounded by the purest and deepest love, but through the seducing words of the serpent they began to crave for more.

But, is there actually more available than they had? No, no not really, but I think they were not aware of it. They were just put into that magnificent garden, knowing nothing of heartache, stressful moments, loneliness, the power of love and missing something. God has shown them his perfect love, but they themselves had not yet grown their own love for God and for everything he had provided for them. First John 4:18 tells us: “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” Adam was very conscious that he had crossed a line that he was disobedient to the word of God and he feared his punishment and his nakedness. Moments ago, he was perfectly clothed in the love of God and never wasted a thought about his nakedness.

Now, as he knows himself guilty, the very same nakedness makes him be afraid of his own creator, of his father. The same principle applies still today. As soon as we tolerate sin in our lives, we cannot rejoice anymore in the love of God. It separates us from him and makes us afraid and it really should. Hebrews 4:13 shows us that nobody, no creature can hide from God. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. We do not know what would have happened, if Adam and Eve would have run to God immediately after they realized their nakedness, telling him, we have sinned against you and it has become a terrible, live shattering problem. Can you help us? We know, however, what is happening today, when we ran towards him and confess our sins. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” Think of his perfect love to us and approach him now to confess, not just your own sins, but all sins you have taken with you from society or from your philosophy.

Whatever in this world you may support that it is not in the Lord’s will, will backfire on you. How can I be a Christian and support people or institutions who are for abortion, same sex marriage, bashing Israel, taking down the authorities, practices that lead to vice, immorality and unrighteousness? Whenever things like those are in our lives, let us run immediately to the Lord, give account to him and repent. Let us get rid of everything he despises. It will lead all of us into a holier live and bring us deeper into his love, so that we will not have any fear anymore, not matter what is going to happen. Only Jesus Christ can set us free. Let us love him, as he has loved and loves us. To him be glory, praise, adoration and exultation. In him alone we can get what we need for life eternal. Let us seize everything than brings us closer to him. Let us throw out everything that separates us from his holiness. Halleluja!

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I do thank you that absolutely nothing is hidden from your eyes. Help me to fully trust your love and always run towards you, when I am or feel guilty. Let me never forget that you are absolutely and unchangeably good and that you have mercy and grace for me no matter what may have happened in my life. Thank you for your love and your patience with me.

When the devil wants to deal with you

An Emoji Devotions for Wed, 7 April 2021

Topic: When the devil wants to deal with you

Highlight:

The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7

The Bible says "Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly." Proverbs 14:29. Let's talk about people with great temper over little things; they don't have friends because they always have issues with people around them.  If such person will not calm down because they got angry with another fellow and will not accept apologies because they feel they are on their right, such person is on the verge of destruction. Our Lord Jesus said in Matthew 23:11 that  "The greatest among you must be a servant". Pride comes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:8

When the devil wants to deal with somebody, he makes them arrogant and proud so that their eyes is closed to see the embarrassing mistake that will hunt them and their memory for life will not escape the torture. All these things begin from the day they start behaving in opposed to the nine (9) fruits of the Spirit written in Galatians 5:22-23: Though the nine fruits look simple but lack of a single of them is very dangerous. Let's take for example two from the nine fruits of the spirit. Love: Anyone who does not love others will stand a chance of living among fake people because bitterness is the opposite of loving and it causes trouble and defiles many. Hebrews 12:15. Second fruit is Joy; someone who have no joy is always sad or they tend to make other people sad, they seldom make mockery to belittle others and they don't have people to associate with them because they pretend a lot, even when they suffer on their sick bed nobody will bother about them. So when the devil wants to deal with a person, it makes them self sufficient enough to not yielding to anyone's advise and also makes them arrogant.

God wants us Cherish wisdom, and wisdom will exalt us; and to embrace wisdom, and wisdom will honor us. Proverbs 4:8, because wisdom is the principal thing and it's found in the word written in Bible.

This is the opportunity for you to give your life to Christ because it is only Jesus that will give wisdom if you are in the category of people who are arrogant and proud. Confess him as your Lord and savior today and ask for His mercy to transform your life. Find a Bible believing church to join and fellowship with the community of believers because you must dissociate yourself from people who will lead you astray. Start reading your Bible and follow the right path. It may be hard in the beginning. There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. Proverbs 14:13 & Matthew 7:13

Prayer: Lord please teach me the right path to follow and let me learn to grow in your Grace. Do not give devil any chance to have it's way in my life. I plead  for your spiritual security by the mercy of your Love in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today and Tomorrow (Hans Wenger Birthday special edition)

An Emoji Devotions for Tue, April 6 2021

Topic: Today and Tomorrow (Hans Wenger Birthday special edition)

Happy birthday to our dear Pastor Hans Wenger. May your joy continue to abound in Christ Jesus always. Amen

Highlight:

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

How far back does this ‘yesterday’ go? We can only travel as having a taste of today and we all don't know what tomorrow looks like. But with Jesus in our heart we have amazing and most remarkable lives.  Some may have works to do,  exams to write, or somewhere to go tomorrow. While others are free or with business to handle today. The one lesson of our changeful lives ought to be for each of us to learn existence of that which does not change. There's a lot in life that does not change truly. Day and night will remain the same, 24 hours will not change and we don't even know what the next person beside us is thinking. Yesterday is over, you can't get it back but there is a special someone who do not change. He is always taking us for who we are and be with you and me today and tomorrow. He will not deny you and will give you Hope on any situation surrounding you. It is no private anymore, the whole world knows that That special someone is Jesus. Your relationship may never be the same again with same person but with Jesus you will never be a loser.

As the moon rises slow and silvery, with its broad shield, out of the fluctuations of the ocean, so the one radiant Figure of the all sufficient and immutable Lover and Friend of our souls; Jesus remain forever our defender and reigning kinb. Proclaim him your permanent friend today by accepting him as your Lord and savior and he will give you peace and certainty for tomorrow.

Prayer: Thou that moves all things and thyself unmoved, thou that changes all things and thyself unchanged. I worship you my master and friend and commit myself to you Lord Jesus. Thank you in Jesus name. Amen.

Natural influence

An Emoji Devotions for Mon 5 Apr, 2021

Topic: Natural influence

Highlight:

Do you see someone who speaks in haste? There is more hope for a fool than for them.

Proverbs 29:20 NIV

What an hopeless situation for someone who does not have a natural influence over their urge to speak. Natural influence is the process that cause changes on our natural resources. For example when it rains the weather is cool, the river flows and the temperature is calm while on the other hand, lack of rain causes draught and imbalance in nature. In life when anyone opens their mouth to speak, you know their level of temperament (the animal nature that affects their behavior). Our Lord Jesus said it is what comes out of the mouth that defiles and dishonors a man. Matthew 15:11. What does this mean? It means that all our words and deeds were first conceived in our heart before being done. Since the heart is the foundation of our words it is also influenced by nature. That's why we need to guide it with all diligence from things that pollutes, corrupts and dishonor. Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:23. Jesus is the living water that gives supernatural spring in our heart. John 4:14

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11 The influence that produces genuine faith that God will approve as righteousness can only be found in His words (Holy Bible). In Joshua 1:8 God said, "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Joshua 1:8 ESV

Instead of blaming God under our trials, let us open our ears and hearts to learn what he teaches by his words. And if we would govern our tongues, we must govern our passions. If you have not yet surrender your life to Jesus Christ, you cannot attain illumination of the Spirit of God in the root of your heart. You need to totally surrender your life to Him now by genuine repentance from things that pollutes and retrieve back the image of righteousness by confessing that you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior and then ask His Holy Spirit to illuminate you. We should engage God through prayer for our words to be profitable as it is only the Spirit of God can illuminate our life.

"Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;"

 James 1:19 ESV

Prayer: Blessed Jesus, Holy and Righteous I worship you. Please illuminate my heart by your Spirit so that my speech and words will be profitable in Jesus name. Amen

When no one is listening

An Emoji Devotions for Easter Sunday 2021

Topic: When no one is listening

Highlight:

This is why I use stories to teach the people: They see, but they don’t really see. They hear, but they don’t really understand. Matthew 13:13

Like with fingerprint, no two people have the same brain anatomy. But Abraham said to him, ‘No! If your brothers won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, then they won’t listen to someone who comes back from death.’” Like 16:31 - Is there anyone in your life who doesn't want to listen even when you are telling them the truth?

People have sought too much knowledge and nothing is new to them anymore. Some don't even want to care to see or hear anything. All their spiritual senses have been shut and the only thing they want is their entertainment. Remember, there are harmless stories that won't cause emotional distress and in another aspect unveil hidden truths to people. The stories that will show them their real conditions and what is missing in their lives. This was Jesus's approach of speaking in parables to the people in His time. When he often speak without parables, they tried to stone him. Like Jesus we must pray that God should touch our tongue and give us fitting words to say when we speak. Isaiah 50:4

Everyone enjoys a fitting reply; it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time! Like apples of gold in settings of silver Is a word spoken at the right time Proverbs 15:23 & 25:11

Now we know what to do when no one is listening.

Prayer: Almighty creator I pray for well instructed tongue and brain to know and speak the words that sustains life in Jesus name. Amen

Mercy

An Emoji Devotions for Sat, 3 April 2021

Topic: Mercy

Highlight:

Know that the Lord Himself is God;

It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Psalms 100:3

Our God is compassionate in heaven. In between prayer, someone is praying for forgiveness while another is giving assurance to God that they will serve him forever. Another one praised Him while another one is asking for help. These are all His people, the sheep of His pasture. They depend on God for their sustenance. Apostle Paul said in Romans 14:8 for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. My question for you, if you keep a secret safe within your heart whether you deserve God's mercy or not would you be on top of God's list as to those who God should give ten talents if God is sharing talents from one to ten? For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”" Romans 9:15 because Moses is interested in delivering God's message to dangerous King Pharaoh of Egypt. He follows God's order and has good relationship with God. God knows the heart of Jacob, He chose him over Esau, He anointed David over his seven brothers, He chose Joseph over others. Today, I urge you by the mercy of God to present your body as a living sacrifice. Holy and pleasing unto God, which is your proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Do not be lazy but work hard. Serve the Lord with all your heart. Romans 12:1,2,11

Our God is merciful and gracious. Let us live according to the model and standard of  Christ. " But go and learn what this means; I desire mercy not sacrifice". So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. (Matthew 9:13, James 4:17)

Prayer: Have mercy on me O Lord in Jesus name. Amen

So many are still blind in total darkness, yet sincerely feel and think they see clearly. They believers who do God's will as dummy and see people living wayward as inspiration. 'An enemy hath done this!’ An enemy came in the night when the innocent person was sleeping away in ignorance. When an innocent boy is learning how to wrap marijuana to smoke every hour to feel good. 'An enemy hath done this!' it is the work of the enemy in the night of life. A full grown man or woman is always horny and the next thing is being addicted to watching obscene movies on their phones. It's the work of an enemy! Matthew 13:28

Some were already told that sinning is detestable in front of most high God but are addicted to it. They see and waste away everyday in sin because of what the enemy has planted in their lives. There is a need for holy fire to purge out and burn the residual evil planned by the enemy.

Secondly, have you been born again but you are still struggling with sin? If such thing is still happening to you or you feel depressed because of lack of sin, it means there are still residual sin in you and if not burned up with fire you cannot be free to serve God peacefully. You need to personally grasped Jesus' hand in prayer to burn the residual sin inside of you and lead you into His glorious life.

Finally, the third category are people who are already saints and sin is enticing them to try and they are looking for opportunity to leave their faith for a short time to sin, you need holy fire. Remember Luke 23:31 "If people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

Praying for Holy fire everyday will help us achieve our God given purpose on earth. Matthew 3:11 says "...He will baptize us with the Holy Ghost and fire." Do you have the Holy fire burning in you? Keep it burning.

Prayer: Lord Jesus my heart is ready for your holy fire. Fill me with your holy fire to burn all the resident evil inside of me. In Jesus name. Amen (Thank you Jesus I love you.)
