When things fall apart.

Topic: When things fall apart.

highlight: The Lord, the God of Israel, says some of you are keeping things he commanded you to destroy. You will never defeat your enemies until you throw away those things. Joshua 7:13b

Dear reader, you have come come to see if this is good news. I bet you did not make a mistake. When a man catch his loving wife cheating, he becomes disappointed and the power for wife to convince the husband about love that exist becomes uneasy. No one is perfect, He can take many things but cannot take cheating. Who is to be blamed? A river that stopped flowing or the hindrance blocking the river. When you go in the place of prayer complaining that there is no more water while the hindrance blocking the river from flowing is standing in front of you. You are keeping things that God commanded you to destroy, then He begins to wonder when you pray about it. There should be no mercy for what God's spirit has rejected. This is different from sin, this is an abomination.  Achan A man from the tribe of Judah was stoned for hiding forbidden things in the ground of his tent. Joshua said, “Why have you brought this trouble on us? The Lord will bring trouble on you today.” Joshua 7:25a

Do you now get it? Prayer alone cannot save  until we identify the stumbling block and remove it. If its a sin, it is different but if it is called abomination, then it is trouble. Whatever it is, you must call Jesus for help to reveal it to you before it's too late and once you know the abomination, remove it from your life with no second thought.

If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ. It is only Jesus that can save you from abomination through His Power and Holy Spirit. Believe, Accept and confess him as your Lord today.  Amen

Prayer: Lord please pardon me and do not let abomination ruin my blessings. Reveal the abomination in my life to me and give me the courage and capacity to remove them with immediate strength in Jesus name. Amen.
