The Trace of Love

Highlight:

I am the Lord your God, so obey me and don't cheat anyone. If you obey my laws and teachings, you will live safely in the land and enjoy its abundant crops. Don't ever worry about what you will eat during the seventh year when you are forbidden to plant or harvest. Leviticus 25:17‭-‬20

God love his children. In the old times he showed Israel's citizens how to live based on his guidelines so they can prosper in the promised land he will give to them. His plans are ultimate plans that worked for all who obeyed him. In the new testament, He extended this love to everyone all over the world by sending someone so special to come and get the job done. Anyone could show love, but for a love to last forever from generation to generation, it must come from God himself.

It is God's decision to love the world. He begins from Israel's Citizens, then to the world because they are special set of people who obeys God from their heart.

"God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die." John 3:16

The Trace of God's love is alive in Jesus Christ His Only Son. It is the love that leads to eternal wealth. We must learn how to live this love of God through Christ to enjoy the benefits left to us from the traces of God's love. So what did God say In Leviticus 25: 17-19 from our highlight verses: God said "I am the Lord your God, so obey me and don't cheat anyone. If you obey my laws and teachings, you will live safely in the land and enjoy its abundant crops". Leviticus 25:17‭-‬19

Though this was about the year of Jubilee. It is significant that God love for His Children is to give them safety and prosperity during their days of rest. However, His plans was greater than a three year rest. Indeed His plan was to give everyone of us "Eternal life" (that is all round rest, safety, peace and prosperity forever) through faith in His son Jesus. John 5:36

We have learned that it takes the grace of our Lord Jesus to perfectly respect and obey the rule of God's law. Our ordinary effort cannot yield the best result. So, the Bible admonishes us to "BELIEVE" in Jesus "The Only Begotten Son of God". Truly Those we believe in Jesus do enjoy the gift of safety, peace and prosperity from God's love. It is only through Jesus Christ, we can find peace and love from above.

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Act 4:12

No one can love you like Jesus. He is the only way, truth and life to those who believe. There is no other way. Jesus is the way. John 14:6 Just surrender unto Him alone and look unto Jesus for every solution, and follow him and call upon his name. John 14:15

If you take away your efforts and rely on Jesus from now on. The Holy Spirit will come into you. John 14:18

Prayer: Lord Jesus help me. I surrender all my weapons to be your subject. If You call me your friend, I will be your friend and if you call me your disciple, I am all yours. Help me with your grace to fall into God's love today. Amen.

Today is your day

An Emoji devotions for Fri Apr 22, 2022

Topic: Today is your day

Highlight: This is the day which the LORD hath made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Jehovah is an all sufficient God. He has made each day and has arranged all possibilities for you in each day.

In Malachi 3:6 He said "For I am Jehovah, I have not changed,..." which means that God will has planned everything to make sure your day go well.

It is clear that we sometimes undermine the honor of God's integrity in our lives because we cannot see with our spiritual eyes and we tend to make decisions based on our human wisdom and knowledge. This is why some little things may become scary and risky for us. It is hard to trust what you do even know about. That is why so many people have taken human proven steps which has lead them into error of life.

It is only through the Spirit of God we can do the mysterious things. It is hard for men but With God all these things are simple. God has knows our weakness and he would be pleased with those who surrender to his instructions given in the Bible (Holy scriptures). (Read Joshua 1:8)

Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:37 KJV

God has made today a day of victory for each and everyone of us. The way forward is to accept Jesus to guide us into the right ways of God so that we will not be unaware of God's provision for each and everyone of us.

Do not stay out of God's plan for you.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: Fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, And marrow to thy bones. Honour the LORD with thy substance, And with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, And thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Proverbs 3:5‭-‬10 KJV

Prayer: God I trust you. please put me in the light of Jesus Christ so that I can live in your daily provisions for me in Jesus name. Amen

Glory to God – our responsibility

Topic: Glory to God – our responsibility

by Pastor Wenger

Highlights:

Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness. Why do the nations say, ‘Where is their God?’ Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him. (Psalm 115:1 – 3)

May you be blessed by the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to the human race. It is not the dead who praise the Lord, those who go down to the place of silence; it is we who extol the Lord, both now and for evermore. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah! (Psalm 115:15 – 18)

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits – who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. (Luke 12:48b)

When we read through the Old Testament we are reminded to praise and glorify the Lord time and again. Nevertheless as we arrive in the last chapter of it, we hear the God fearing people complain and speaking harshly against God. ‘You have spoken arrogantly against me,’ says the Lord. ‘Yet you ask, “What have we said against you?” ‘You have said, “It is futile to serve God. What do we gain by carrying out his requirements and going about like mourners before the Lord Almighty? But now we call the arrogant blessed. Certainly evildoers prosper, and even when they put God to the test, they get away with it.”’ (Malachi 3:13 – 15) What happened?

The asking of the nations mentioned in Psalm 115 got so strong that the God fearing people began to get in tune with the evil song. God got degraded to a weak “quantity negligible” and human power and achievement were praised. They forgot to praise the Lord, which is the foremost task of his followers. With the neglecting of glorifying God they lost their joy and inner balance and slowly but surely, following God grew to a mournful and futile burden. It is not enough to preserve the scriptures and to adhere to what the Lord has done in the past, although this is the basis for our living with God in the here and now. We are responsible to praise the Lord for his past deeds and for what we are experiencing with him in the present. By diving into his goodness and love we will be renewed daily in our living hope for the glory to come, in which he grants us a place on his side. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will – to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.” (Ephesians 1:3 – 6) He has bequeathed us with his whole inheritance. Is this not enough to publicly sing his praises?

His handiwork, the heavens and the earth, his whole creation worships and praises him, but Psalm 115 reminds us that it is we, who are responsible to extol him. He has given us not only much, but literally everything.  He has a right to expect thankfulness and praise from us. Dear Brother, dear Sister, let us stop complaining about hardships and let us fill our environment with glorifying him and singing his praises, no matter what!

Prayer:  Dear Lord God, dear Lord Jesus, I repent from my being gloomy instead of giving you thanks and praise for all you have done for me and for all you are presently doing for me on a daily bases. I want to open my mouth and fill my life and the lives from the people around me with your praise and glory. I am weak, but you are strong. Fill me with your spirit so that my life will glorify you in the mighty power of your wonderful goodness, your mercy and your strength. Amen.

Eloi Eloi Lama Sabachthani

Topic: Eloi Eloi Lama Sabachthani

Highlight:

Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” John 21:18

Simon Peter! Jesus said you will fall into temptation and later on deny him three times before the cock crows. Even though Peter challenged that revelation; By replying, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.” but in the end, He (Simon) could not overcome denying Jesus three times because the situation is inevitable. Find out in Luke 22:33

(Jesus in verse 44) And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. But the will of God has to be done.

For the one reading this, it will come a time of your life when the inevitable may have to happen. Be ready for it , so that the will of God may be done in your life.

And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). Mark 15:34

God could and will never forsake His own. This has to happen, Jesus has to die so that you and I could know and believe in resurrection of the dead. "A Roman army officer was standing in front of Jesus. When the officer saw how Jesus died, he said, “This man really was the Son of God!”

Mark 15:39

in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1 Corinthians 15: 52

If you follow God's plan and allow God's plan to work on you. There will be resurrection in your life.

Jesus is the plan that God has for me and you. He has already suffered all the inevitable occurrence that are deemed for resurrection. If you accept him, believe in him and let his grace work in your life. You will enjoy God now and in afterlife.

Jesus is truly the son of God.

Prayer: Today Lord, Jesus I understand that I am serving the resurrected Lord who has paid all the price for me to enjoy premium relationship with God. May your grace spread into all I am and will become. Amen.

Grace of God alone is the energy to depend on

An Emoji Devotional for Mon, 11th April, 2022

Topic: Grace of God alone is the energy to depend on.

Highlight: And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Matthew 6:7

Elijah said to Baal's prophets, “There are more of you, so you go first. Pick out a bull and get it ready, but don't light the fire. Then pray to your god.” They chose their bull, then they got it ready and prayed to Baal all morning, asking him to start the fire. They danced around the altar and shouted, “Answer us, Baal!” But there was no answer. At noon, Elijah began making fun of them. “Pray louder!” he said. “Baal must be a god. Maybe he's daydreaming or using the toilet or traveling somewhere. Or maybe he's asleep, and you have to wake him up.” The prophets kept shouting louder and louder, and they cut themselves with swords and knives until they were bleeding. This was the way they worshiped, and they kept it up until time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no answer of any kind. Elijah told everyone to gather around him while he repaired the Lord's altar. Then he used twelve stones to build an altar in honor of the Lord. Each stone stood for one of the tribes of Israel, which was the name the Lord had given to their ancestor Jacob. Elijah dug a ditch around the altar, large enough to hold about 14 liters. He placed the wood on the altar, then they cut the bull into pieces and laid the meat on the wood. He told the people, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it over the meat and the wood.” After they did this, he told them to do it two more times. They did exactly as he said until finally, the water ran down the altar and filled the ditch. When it was time for the evening sacrifice, Elijah prayed: Our Lord, you are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. Now, prove that you are the God of this nation, and that I, your servant, have done this at your command. Please answer me, so these people will know that you are the Lord God, and that you will turn their hearts back to you. The Lord immediately sent fire, and it burned up the sacrifice, the wood, and the stones. It scorched the ground everywhere around the altar and dried up every drop of water in the ditch. When the crowd saw what had happened, they all bowed down and shouted, “The Lord is God! The Lord is God!” Just then, Elijah said, “Grab the prophets of Baal! Don't let any of them get away.” So the people captured the prophets and took them to Kishon River, where Elijah killed every one of them.

1 Kings 18:25‭-‬40

We should depend on the All-powerful God. Not on our own power or strength. The energy that convert prayers to answer is only in God's hands and not in our hands. Do not allow the flesh manipulates you into thinking that you will be heard when you perform additional man-made rites. Believe in Jesus His Son and follow God's commands and with patience- pray with faith and Thanksgiving. It is by grace alone and not by works. Ephesians 2:8-9 Hallelujah

Prayer: Lord I believe, help my unbelief in Jesus name. Amen

Jesus Standard Signature - (JSS)

An Emoji devotions for Sat Apr 9, 2022

Topic: Jesus Standard Signature - (JSS)

Highlight:

Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

Praise the Lord, the God of Israel! He has come to save his people. Our God has given us a mighty Savior from the family of David his servant. Long ago the Lord promised by the words of his holy prophets to save us from our enemies and from everyone who hates us. God said he would be kind to our people and keep his sacred promise. that he would rescue us from our enemies. Then we could serve him without fear - Are you serving God without fear today. Do not let the devil steal your blessing through fear. The Bible says that "A thief comes only to rob, kill, and destroy. I (Jesus) came so everyone would have life, and have it fully.

John 10:10

Jesus has a signature standard of living which is to serve God without fear. He said in Matthew 6: 32-34

Only people who don't know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows you need all of these. But more than anything else, put God's work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well. Don't worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today.

Most of the great Prophets of God have lived their lives by Jesus Standard Signature which  is to serve God without fear. We must let this be our signature as Christian. Yet God raised Jesus to life! God's Spirit now lives in you, and he will raise you to life by his Spirit.

Romans 8:11

We ought to believe in God and put our faith in Him. We ought to love Him and depend on His name. The Hebrew Men in Daniel 3:17 used this signature to outlive their fear. "If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand." Jesus has never been afraid even to the point of death on the cross because He knows that the grace of God is available to bring resurrection unto his body even in the grave.

Do not give it a try, live by the signature to serve God without fear. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

If you are yet to give your life to Jesus. This is an opportunity to enjoy the grace upon your life. Jesus is the way forward in life. Open your mind, accept the one and only saviour of the world who is able to guide and shape your soul and spirit unto eternal life. Pray the prayer of faith by calling Jesus by faith: "I call on the Lord Jesus ro come into my life and save my soul from the world's terror and sin.

In conclusion, look back to the highlight of today's devotional, Jesus was sleeping in the stormy sea, when he woke up, He rebuked the wind. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Serve God without fear is the best signature you can ever have.

Prayer: God of the Covenant of Abraham, I wish this day that you give me the ability to serve you without fear knowing fully well that you are with me with your saving power. Help me to trust in you with all my heart and to lean not on my own understanding in Jesus name I pray. Thank you Father for it is done. Amen

What do you went out to see?

An Emoji devotions for Tue, Apr 5, 2022

Topic: What do you went out to see?

Highlight: And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

Matthew 11:7 KJV

We just want the best that's what we want to see. We want result, not a reed from the grass blown back and forth by the wind. But when you go to the field and all you keep looking at is a reed blowing back and forth until the time is spent, it is just like wasting of time. However, we do want such satisfaction which guarantee impact.

What did you really go out to see? Was he a prophet? He certainly was. I tell you that he was more than a prophet. In the Scriptures God says about him, “I am sending my messenger ahead to get things ready for you.” I tell you no one ever born on this earth is greater than John the Baptist. But whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than John.

Matthew 11:9‭-‬11 CEVDCI

You are a child of God that belong to the Kingdom of Heaven. You are greater than the reeds and even the Prophets. People have come to see you, because you shine the light of Christ. Believe in yourself in the name of God and keep shinning.

Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.

God's grace is available for all who believe in Christ alone.

Prayer: Father, I believe that through Jesus Christ I am blessed. Help me to be strong in my conviction that you are with me and I will not fall. In Jesus name.
