Don't be afraid of height

An Emoji Devotions for Fri 27th August 2021

Topic: Don't Be Afraid of Height

Highlights:

...Nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few.” 1 Samuel 14:6

Everyone needs a little bit of fear in our lives. It is fear of accident that cautions drivers to drive carefully on the road. A little child with no amount of fear in them could take life-taking risks that could lead to untimely death. When fear is too much, it leads to shyness, low self esteem and failure. There is also a Spirit of fear that causes timidity and negative mindset in man.

When we compare what God could do in our lives to what fear can lead to, we will see that it is better to hold on to God's side.

God told us, “Wisdom means that you respect me, the Lord, and turn from sin.”

Job 28:28

God is taller than the heights we are afraid of. He assures us that "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2

In this life: "Nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few.” 1 Samuel 14:6. It does not matter if you are chasing a very big dream (pls read Deuteronomy 32:30)

You can go higher in life if you believe in what God commands Psalm 119:47 says "God's command brings happiness".

When you do God's command - You are the light for the whole world. A city built on top of a hill (that) cannot be hidden.

Matthew 5:14

Don't be afraid of height. Just Believe that safety and winning only comes from God Proverbs 21:31

If you surrender your life to Jesus Christ and believe in his backing power. You will get there. Trust God today

Prayer: O Lord my Safety. Help me to go higher and greater in the power of your accomplishments in Jesus name. Amen.
