Topic: God Keeps Promise
As the LORD had promised through Elijah, the bowl did not run out of flour nor did the jar run out of oil. 1 Kings 17:16
The eyes may be heavy of sleep but God will keep His promises. We know what God wants as His bride but if we do not wear it as God wants to see on us, He may send us out. Matthew 22:11-13
"The king went in to look at the guests and saw a man who was not wearing wedding clothes. He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless."
So the king gave orders for this person to be tied hand and foot and to be thrown outside into the dark. That's where people will cry and grit their teeth in pain.
When you check the manual of God's promise, there is always a process in the beginning. When you follow the due process, you must continue to obey instructions to sustain this promise.
In the highlight verse, there was a preceding verse that read this:
And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 1 Kings 17:15
So that there will be no costly punishment for disobedient and excuses, it is better that we follow instructions as it was since the beginning of covenant. May the good Lord help us to remain worthy. Remember Adam and Eve! Do all you can to stay in the covenant so that when God sees you he may continue to be merciful.
Prayer: Lord do not cast me out of your covenant with me. I repent of my crooked ways and have made up my mind to continue with the instructions of our covenant in Jesus name.
