Do you think you need to know your score in the Spirit? You have responsibilities and yet someone is asking your score in the Spirit. How important is your score in the Spirit - It is very important. Let's look at few examples

Example one: What is your response to those who underappreciate or snub you? In such cases, do you get furious or does it bother you. 

The answer is in James 1:2 

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds"

Does it bother you when you don't get enough accolades for your effort? How convenient is it for you to rejoice in such situations? 

In Matthew 5: 11 Jesus said:

“Blessed [morally courageous and spiritually alive with life-joy in God’s goodness] are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil things against you because of [your association with] Me.

Why you should listen to what Jesus said is very important because our natural nature was compromised during the days of Adam. People do not understand the proper way to live - Only Jesus does. That's is why we ought to study our way from the Bible to be like Jesus because He is the right standard to check our spiritual score.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

2 Corinthians 5:17 

And remember that for you to be spiritually awakened, you must score high in spiritual spirituality. 

But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

What is you score in the Spirit?
