Finally, Abraham said, "Please don't get angry, LORD, if I speak just once more. Suppose you find only 10 good people there." "For the sake of 10 good people," the LORD told him, "I still won't destroy the city." Genesis 18:32

God also punished the evil cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. He burned them until there was nothing left but ashes. He used those cities as an example of what will happen to people who are against God.

2 Peter 2:6 

Such punishment is specially reserved for those who indulge the corrupt desires of the flesh and despise authority. Bold and self-willed, they are unafraid to slander glorious beings.

2 Peter 2:10 BSB

Congratulations to you, if you are someone who is wise enough to search for God. I am congratulating you because you are the first people God is looking for whenever he looks down from heaven to check on his creations. How did I know? In Psalms 14:2, The Holy Bible Tells us that  From time to time God would look down from heaven if anyone is wise enough to search for Him. 

The Lord looks down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if any understand, if any seek God. All have turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.

The story is short. No one was looking for God in Sodom and Gomorrah except Lot and their family. They were not up to ten in numbers, there is no amount of intercession that could save them. Simply because there were no good people in the city. God had to removed lot and his family out of Sodom and Gomorrah. Even when Lot's wife looked back to the city when it was being destroyed, she paid for it with her dear life. For her heart was with Sodom and Gomorrah and not with God. She will be a salt for the goats in the mountain because goats were symbols of disobedient children. 

Give your life to Christ, seek God in the right way which is through Jesus Christ. John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true adorers shall adore the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father also seeketh such to adore him.

Lot and his two daughters escaped the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah but the destructive way of Sodom and Gomorrah did not escape them. Genesis 19:30-38 as His daughters raped their father to raise children for their lineage. 

The world is going viral on the pathway of Sodom and Gomorrah. God is still looking down each day to find good people who adore him in Spirit and in truth. Will he find you? Lot lived right and was greatly troubled by the terrible way those wicked people were living. He was a good man, and day after day he suffered because of the evil things he saw and heard. So the Lord rescued him.

2 Peter 2:7‭-8 Such is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face, O God of Jacob. Selah

Psalms 24:6 

Prayer: God if I can seek your face in spirit and truth that will make you to love me and bless me. Give me grace to honor and adore you. 

It is God that Justify

God is not a man, that he should lie; Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 

Numbers 23:19‭

From Ellicott Commentary - All things shall be freely given to the Christian. Nothing can frustrate this: either on the side of God, for when He justifies none can condemn; or on the side of Christ whose death, and resurrection, and ascension, and intercession are pledges that nothing can separate us from His love.

What have we to fear? When God pronounces our acquittal there is none who can pronounce our condemnation. Literally, God is He who justifies, who then can condemn? And answering to this in the next verse we have, Christ is He that died, &c. This is the two-fold answer to the question, "Who shall come forward to accuse God's elect?" It is a conclusive reply to this to state the relation in which the accused stand to God and to Christ.

Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, Neither is there any divination against Israel: According to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought! Numbers 23:23

Prayer: I am God's elect. I am highly ordained. I am an ambassador of Christ. I carry His seed which is the Holy Ghost in my Spirit. I receive Mercy!

NOTE: For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

What God Wants

Topic: What God wants

Highlight:

But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matthew 9:13

God prefer to show mercy to repentant sinners. He said, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

The intent of God is to show mercy to His children who humble themselves and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways. Psalm 24:6 says "Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob."

Our heart should know it is time to seek the face of God for mercy and compel us to seek God's face without prejudice. Such is the heart that God desire in Psalm 27:8 - "My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, LORD, I will seek."

However if our heart goes astray and we forget the importance of seeking God's face when it gets to us as recommended by our heart - if that is what you want, then you are on your own.

It faith when your heart recommends to you that it is time to seek God. "And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” Hebrews 10:38

Have you forgotten that the whole purpose of God's love is to show mercy to all who come to repentance by believing in Jesus Christ His only begotten son? Do not cloud yourself with principles of religious beliefs that had secluded out the mercy of God by seeking him in humility. Live in a way that God wants and preach it to those who refuse to understand what God wants.

Prayer: Father thank you for showing me mercy. Give me a heart of humility that seek your face and hope in your mercy. In Jesus name. Amen

Finally, let the mighty strength of the Lord make you strong.

Ephesians 6:10 

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might: The apostles have been with Jesus, they have seen miracles and listened to His teachings. They have learned practical approach of how the Holy Spirit operates among crowd, elders, and authorities. They have seen how the scripture is being fulfilled. They were convinced about being strong in the Lord and they knew what God could do. In their eyes, The Lord told them "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 10:19) and they believed because they have practiced it and it worked for them. About 72 of His disciples at the same time testified in Luke 10:17 that "When the 72 followers returned, they were excited and said, “Lord, even the demons obeyed when we spoke in your name!"

One of them is Apostle Paul, He has performed so many miracles through the power of the Holy Ghost. He has faced persecution in different cities where He peached Jesus. He was bitten by snake without being harmed. He is the one telling you to be: Be Powerful - If you say, yes I want to be powerful, But How? It is simple: Let the mighty strength of the Lord make you strong. In order words Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. "I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it." Psalm 81:10

If you stay under grace of God's power which is available to all His Children, you will conquer and win most of life situations. Are you born again? Have you accept the Lord Jesus into your heart. It is a blessing to be a Christian. No other way but Yahweh. 

If you are born again. Pray for power under anointing of the Holy Spirit and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to fill you up today.

Spirit of The Beast

Highlight: 

This made the dragon terribly angry with the woman. So it started a war against the rest of her children. They are the people who obey God and are faithful to what Jesus did and taught.

Revelation 12:17 

The book of revelation is accurate. It does not predict what will happen, it accurately gave account of what is happening today. Everyone knew about the mark of the Beast, but what we should know before the mark is, the Spirit of the beast which will take over everyone's life including Christians. Jesus has warned us before that "For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones." Matthew 24:24. This is because in the last days there will be many Prophets and seers and knowledgeable experts that will divide people's attention. Acts 2:17 & Daniel 12:4

What is the Spirit of the beast? It is the Spirit that will enter into everyone including children, youth, and elderlies to automatically wage a warfare against anyone who keeps the testimony of Jesus Christ. Once you claim you are born again and you live Holy life, people will see you differently and hate you. Some will even attack you because you are trying to keep the testimony in the community where iniquity has become the order of the day. Today, the gospel is preached all over the world and everyone is a master of his own doctrine. People are looking for credible messages from preachers to only satisfy their cold soul. 

Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. Matthew 24:12 another version said Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. People will show off their wealth and those who are poor will become desperate to be rich.  Christians will even suspect themselves and some will trusting motivational speakers because of what they want to hear and some people will not be moved by the Spirit of God anymore. 

The Spirit of Love is already growing cold because of the economy situations around the world. Many will follow wayward celebrities who will introduce wayward and blasphemous lifestyles into them. This is the Spirit of the beast unanimously sending people into the end time dragon age.

The beast cursed God, and it cursed the name of God. It even cursed the place where God lives, as well as everyone who lives in heaven with God. It was allowed to fight against God's people and defeat them. It was also given authority over the people of every tribe, nation, language, and race.

Revelation 13:6‭-‬7 

"...This means that God's people must learn to endure and be faithful" (Revelation 13:10b) when you see someone so convinced in their mind to mock God's people without opposition people will not be worried about it but instead of challenging them, people including Christians will join them to talk against God. Some of the ungodly ideologies will be introduced by government to gain people's support - It is the Spirit of the Beast. Do not let the Spirit of the beast enter inside of you, Even though only few will be saved, you must be among the few who will be saved. The Bible has warned us to stand in the Holy Place (cf Matthew 24:15 - So you will not be taken off guard). Jesus will come to put clarification and solution to whatever we did not understand.

Remember that "...on Mount Zion will be deliverance; it will be holy, and Jacob will possess his inheritance. Obadiah 1:18, John 4:24. You must keep yourself Holy while watching and praying. No mountain is too big for God to move, and with God all things are possible. Luke 1:37, When you Pray against the Spirit of the Beast, the good Lord will deliver you, so keep praying. and let the  brotherly and sisterly love continue in all you do. God bless you. Hebrews 13:1

Prayer: Father I pray that I and my family will not be infected by the Spirit of the beast in the name of Jesus. Amen

Topic: Enjoying The Master's Happiness. It's a blessing.

Highlight: 

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ Matthew 25:21

God has prepared happiness for His children. He given you a special assignment that will earn everlasting happiness. You have to discover that assignment or ask God to show you. It is what is within you that You have got to build and establish in order to reach the height happiness in the way God wants. So many are fulfilling happiness in the wrong way. According to Jesus story, one of the servants (someone among the people of the earth) ... which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

and I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

(Matthew 25:24-25) which means When the servant fell down, he just cried and stay down. He did not persevere in his investment, he refused to give a second try or he otherwise he gave up on his talent. He said "I was afraid, and gave up the assignment". It does not matter how many times you fail. You only have to be right once and then everyone can tell you that you are an overnight success. Ah! lest I forget, the person who had five talent and brought ten talents only could have shared only the successful part of the story. There is no gain without pain and there has been no success without losses. 

Keep building on what you believe, because God has prepared happiness for all who never give up on their dreams.

In Genesis 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.... It is a blessing not a curse when you have a dream and you don't give up on it. 

Prayer: God I pray, give me grace to fulfill my dreams and never give up until I share in the masters happiness in Jesus name. Amen

Topic: Spiritually Discerned with Examples

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV

Do not be surprised. When you see someone who claims to be a Christian but does not follow in the teachings of Christ. It is very clear that a natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit. Let us see some examples

1. In Matthew 15:8 Our Lord described them thus  "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." 

2. In Matthew 23:13 Our Lord Jesus condemned the act "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to." Perhaps these are discouraging other Christians with their fanatic lifestyle. Some of them envy the gifted ones. They will not let the Spirit lead in the fellowship of believers. They have read many books and had knowledge of different spiritual meaning to the Bible therefore they will not listen to the truth of God's word from anyone else. 

3. Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him. Matthew 6:3

These are set of people who were born in to Christianity. They are among the fellowship of Christ. They know everything about being a Christian from the foundation to the uttermost so there is nothing you can tell the from God's word that can move them anymore.

4. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” Matthew 19:24 

These are the rich folks who have created boundaries towards God concerning their money. Once anything happens to their finance, they will withdraw from God. Once they are okay, then no problem. 

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Matthew 6:24 KJV

5. After the people saw the sign Jesus performed (feeding thousands), they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself. John 6:14-15

These are those who are looking for Jesus only to feed their belly. God knows the intention of their heart. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, Romans 14:17

Who are the spiritually Discerned?

1. Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:3

These are those who have truly surrendered their life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:14 - Say no more! 

 

2. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12

It is a different thing to be born again, living a righteous life according Galatians 5:22 and it is a another thing to receive Jesus and Believe! in Him. Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. Matthew 21:21

Some may be serving God because they do not want to go to hell but yet doubt the ability of God to do big things for them. We have seen how somehow people who believe give generously towards God project and are bountiful in prosperity while some refuse to involve give generously to God because they can't see anything coming out of it. 

Matthew 13:12 says Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. This is the reality of what is happening to some Christians today who serve in God's house but does not involve in God's work with their substance.

3. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: Romans 8:16; 

These are those who have been baptized by the Holy Spirit. They have conviction of being God's Children. They pray to God and intercede for others. They wage war against the arms of the flesh with the impact from the Holy Spirit. They are shinning light in God's word. They are spiritually inclined. "...and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it." Matthew 16:18

4. Then Peter said to him, “We’ve given up everything to follow you. What will we get?” Matthew 9:27 

These are those who have left the cares of this world (Some left their family) to serve and do the work of God. Some have left their country to do humanitarian to take care of the less privilege because of the gospel. Some have become missionaries where the gospel is needed. Some go about preaching and imparting the life of God into the world. Some have denied themselves by giving up their homes, savings, cars, luxury because of Christ. Some even gave up their blood even lives to ensure that the good news of Christ is preached to children, adult and everyone.

 What did Jesus said about these people? 

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. Matthew 11:29

As we can see today, that the gospel is now a blessing to many lives and due to this so many Christians have become great and have been blessed through it. Jesus is the truth!

5. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Hebrews 12:14

These are those who humble themselves under the mighty hands of God. They ensure they want to see God and would do anything to maintain their inner peace with God through living a Holy life which is acceptable to God. 

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; Ephesians 6:6

There are tremendous blessings in following Jesus Christ in a Spiritually Discerned way. Blessings, promises of God, protection etc

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:8 KJV
