Divine Relationship

An Emoji Devotions for Mon 7th December,2020

Highlights:

Not to us, O Lord, not to us,

but to your name goes all the glory

for your unfailing love and faithfulness. Psalms 115:1

God is king. He made human in His image. Imagine you have a pet and it will just not attach itself to you. How would you feel and What will you do? Two things may happen. 1. If you love the pet, you would leash it somewhere for some time and find a way to get the it attached to you OR You take the dog away to an animal shelter.

God wants us to recognize his presence as our heavenly father, leader and King. This is exactly how the Israelites acknowledged God. They took laws and orders from the Almighty. And Whenever they go wayward they were punished for their disobedience and once they knew it and repent, they got delivered.

Psalm 115:9 O Israel, trust the Lord! He is your helper and your shield.

We are all God's image no matter what race or nationality. First, We want people to acknowledge us in our family and community. If something goes wrong and people to whom love is expected misbehaves to us, we feel sad most especially when their attitude towards us is not called for. We expect them to love us and give back love to them.

But We must realize how much God wants us to acknowledge Him in our daily lives through prayer and fellowship fellowship with Him.

The dead cannot sing praises to the Lord, for they have gone into the silence of the grave.

"But we can praise the Lord

    both now and forever!

             Praise the Lord!

 Psalms 115: 17-18

Prayer: May the Lord richly bless

    both me and my children.

May I be blessed by the Lord,

who made heaven and earth. Amen

               Psalms 115:13-15
