God of Second Chance

An Emoji Devotions for Tue 22nd December, 2020.

Topic: God of Second Chance

Highlights:

Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives,  but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them. As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd.

“Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”

They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” 8 Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.

When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. 10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”

“No, Lord,” she said.

And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” John 8:1-11

Though there are your accusers (no matter they stand for) in this life with many accusations against you. But With Jesus on your side, you will be discharged and be free. It may seems that there's no response at the moment, don't worry, your justifier is working on your case. Give him the time to defend your petition. Still hold on to him. In the end, accusers would have gone and you will be set free.

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

The truth is, you have a second chance. Never give up! Receive Jesus today.

Prayer: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with me.

The Will Maker

An En Emoji Devotions for Mon 21, December 2020

Topic: The Will Maker

A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Matthew 8:2

In the presence of Saviour my faith will be made stronger. I know His grace will abound and his sovereign hands will guide me. My friend, If you are riding the waves of life and you want to walk upon waters, you must understand that Jesus is the will maker. He is the greater faith, hope and love combined. Emotions may rise, but will never be able to calculate the amount of faith needed to do the impossible. Who will part the red sea, who will make the new heavens and the new earths, who will raise the dead and make them live and who will opened the eyes of the blind again and again? It is Jesus the will maker.

Let the water splash upon your face, let the grass sprinkle with dew, if you hold on to the strength of the one who could forgive sins. You will be saved.

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. Matthew 8:3

With him, mystery is just letters of an alphabet. He will put them together strings by strings to fix your Wonderful life beyond imaginations. Believe in your heart and confess the Lord Jesus as your will maker today.

Prayer: Lord Jesus you are my will maker. I trust your good will upon my life that in your name every knees shall bow and every tongues shal confess that Jesus is Lord. Amen

Compiled through inspirational song from Hillsong united titled "ocean" and a poem by Sara Rosenfield titled: "The waves of life"

Energy Tapping Faith

An Emoji Devotions for Sun 20, Dec 2020

Topic: Energy Tapping Faith

for she was saying to herself, "If I only touch His garment, I will get well." Matthew 9:21

As soon as she came up behind Jesus and barely touched his clothes, her bleeding stopped. Luke 8:44

But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.” Luke 8:46

A broken woman who was looking for healing. Bleeding for 12 years, she had an opportunity to meet Jesus but the stigma would not allow her to approach him face to face. She would not let the opportunity slide she determined in her heart by all means to get saved. But she did not reason like an ordinary people who would want Jesus' hand laid on them or demonstrate dramas before she got healed. She took a gentle approach, she wouldn't need to pull a stunt, she just want a touch but a touch that would not let Jesus noticed her. She just want to tap Jesus and not the other way round. That's all her best. She would do what she would because she believed it is enough to stop the bleeding of 12 years.

The good news is that the energy for her healing was already on that spot of Jesus' garment,  her faith really made her whole. Time of faith is not for trial and error. Just put your situation versus the demonstration and add no too much salt.

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. Matthew 5:13

Remember, when it comes to faith, Not  too much drama is needed, just go straight to the point.

Matthew 9:13a But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’

Prayer: please I choose your help Lord for all reasons known and unknown. Help me Lord. I will be grateful forever. . Amen.

Love and Truth

Topic: Love and Truth

An Emoji Devotions for Fri 18th December

Don’t let love and truth ever leave you.
    Tie them around your neck.
Write them on the tablet of your heart. Proverbs 3:3

The Psalmist was asking a question in Psalm 15

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain?

The truth is about to be revealed. Truth cannot be abused but love can be abused. When People turned biased to others in the name of love for their choices the truth will be revealed. Truth is a light that cannot be hidden even if it is avoided it will show that you are not being true. It is the thermometer to measure the temperature of conscience.

The question is are you being true with the love you have? When you deceive yourself and do things you love but in the end you know right that it will end in regret, then certainly you are not living in the truth.

Don’t let love and truth ever leave you.
    Tie them around your neck.
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will find favor and a good name
in the eyes of God and people. Proverbs 3:3-4

(Read Psalm 15)

Prayer: Lord Spirit of love and truth have mercy on me and save me without grief. In Jesus name amen.

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation without regret. Finally he (the prodigal son) came to his senses and said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have plenty of food? But here I am, starving to death! Luke 15:17

It is time to call upon the name of God and keep your eyes above the waves. Even in the ocean of life, He never fails. Trust in the Lord. Listen and wait for him say "come" and be strong to accept the change. Walking on Water - WOW

Emoji devotion for Wed 16th December, 2020

Topic: Walking on water

Highlights: Matthew 14:28-29

Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

29 “Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

The God I know exists is the kind of a God who will do what he says he'll do.

"Lord if it's you, Peter replied, tell me to come to you on the water. "Come" he said. The frequency of Peter's faith did not begin with passion to tryout walking on water, he believed in what Jesus will say. John 1:1. The divine knowledge Peter exercise was to seek approval from Jesus by hearing him say "come". When the Lord Jesus said "come" he moved immediately.

I want you to know today that you do not need to convince yourself about Jesus. Just believe in his words. When Peter was trying to convince himself and was working on maintaining his balance when he saw the wind, things changed immediately as he would have lost his faith. Thank God he cried out "Lord save me". Even if your faith is not strong enough, let your prayer be strong.

Jesus Christ says that man must either pray or faint, one or the other. Because it is Jesus Christ who says this, I believe him. Believe in Jesus today fo your salvation. Matthew 14:33

Prayer: Jesus the son of God I believe in you. Bid me to walk on waters of life and never sink, give me a strong faith that is never distracted and prove yourself as a great God in my life. Amen
