Once upon a milk: A Sceptre of Righteousness

Topic: Once upon a milk: A Sceptre of Righteousness

Highlight:

like newborn babies [you should] long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may be nurtured and grow in respect to salvation [its ultimate fulfillment], 1 Peter 2:2

It is time to exhibit deliberate choice to leave behind the immature, self-centered behaviors of our past and embrace a Christ-like way of living, characterized by love, humility, and self-sacrifice.

Nourishment through God's Word feeds your soul. The richness of the Word not only provides the necessary ingredients you need to survive and thrive but also contains healing properties.

We should endeavour to grow through nourishment provided from the wisdom of Christ Jesus by the word he gives to establish us in a healthy spirit.

The Wisdom of Jesus Christ is like a press conference, in which Jesus answers all the questions about God and salvation that the disciples could think of.

You can find some of this wisdom by reading and digesting Matthew 5&6, etc these are only few of numerous chapters of the whole Bible that points to the wisdom of Christ. It is the wisdom of Christ that will give you the Sceptre (authority) of Righteousness approved by God.

Do you love Christ? Are you living by His wisdom?

You are the light for the whole world. A city built on top of a hill cannot be hidden,
Matthew 5:14

Prayer: Father of light, give me the wisdom of Jesus Christ to have my Sceptre of Righteousness in which you approved. Amen

The Need for Sanctuary Cleansing

An Emoji Devotions for Thu 15th September 2023

Topic: The Need for Sanctuary Cleansing

Highlight:

But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:17

The whole earth belongs to the Lord. Everybody who lives in the world and all the things in it belong to him. Psalms 24:1 ☆
There was a seal in heaven. The lion of the tribe of Judah opened the seal.

The beings that are alive and the leaders sang a new song. They sang: ‘You are so good! You are good enough to take the book. You can break its seals and open it. You can do this because they killed you. When you died, you bought people for God with your blood. You bought them from every tribe, from every language and every nation. You have caused them to belong to the kingdom of our God. You have made them priests, so that they serve God. And they will rule on the earth.’ Revelation 5:9‭-‬10 EASY

Are you aware that whoever surrender his life to be purchased by the blood of Jesus to God has become God's sanctuary. Those people who are born again were purchased from their own self-centered and self-lordship life. So who got the price? You know that our Lord Jesus Christ is very kind. He was rich, but he made himself poor to help you. So then, because he became poor, you could become rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9 EASY

So Jesus unites us with God, so God now sees us as pleasant people so He will turn us to His sanctuary. Remember this: Your body is the home of God's Holy Spirit. God gave his Holy Spirit to you and he lives in you. You do not belong to yourselves any longer. God bought you for himself. He paid the price for you. So use your body to show how great God is. 1 Corinthians 6:19‭-‬20 EASY

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father I am your Sacred Sanctuary. Please Use my body to show how great you are through the grace of Jesus Christ who bought me with His blood. Amen

Standing Firm against the Devil's Distractions

An Emoji Devotions for Mon. 21 August 2023

Topic: Standing Firm against the Devil's Distractions

Highlight: Matthew 4:10 - "Jesus said to him, 'Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'"

Devotional:

As we journey through life, we face countless distractions that seek to derail us from our true purpose and goals. The devil, our adversary, is cunning and relentless in his attempts to hinder our progress. Yet, we find hope and encouragement in the example of Jesus, who triumphed over the devil's schemes. In Matthew 4:10, Jesus responded firmly to the temptations of the devil, refusing to be swayed from His original goal.

The devil recognizes our vulnerabilities and seeks to exploit them through various means. He may offer us alternative options that, from his perspective, appear alluring and promising. These distractions may come in the form of financial gain, popularity, or momentary pleasure. The devil preys on our desires, attempting to steer us away from the path God has set for us.

However, Jesus teaches us that we have the power to resist and overcome the devil's tactics. He never lost sight of His true purpose, despite the tempting offers presented to Him. Jesus knew His assignment on earth, and He refused to allow the devil to distract Him from fulfilling God's plan.

To discern our own assignment on earth, we must first accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. By inviting Him into our lives, we open ourselves up to His guidance and direction. Jesus teaches us to seek first the Kingdom of God, prioritizing our relationship with Him above all else. When we align our will with God's will, we gain clarity in understanding our purpose and the tasks He has called us to fulfill.

In our pursuit of fulfilling our God-given assignment, we must be vigilant against the devil's distractions. It is through the strength and power of Jesus that we can overcome these temptations. By relying on His Word, prayer, and the Holy Spirit's leading, we can discern truth from deceit and stand firm against the devil's attempts to divert us from our goals.

Remember, as children of Jesus, we are equipped to combat the devil's schemes. He cannot overpower us when we remain rooted in Christ. Let us allow Jesus to shape our goals and guide our steps, trusting that His plans are far greater than any temporary allure the devil presents.

Take a moment to reflect on your own journey. The devil only gave Jesus four option which represents the four cardinal points. JESUS REJECTS ALL OPTIONS FROM THE DEVIL. It should not be more than four minutes and four option with the devil until you send him away and make sure you reject all his option.

Prayer: Tell me Lord Jesus what I need to do when the devil wants to patronise me. I am an inheritor of eternal life from you so I need your Spirit. Dear Lord Jesus help me chase the devil away. make me unreachable to the devil in Jesus name. Right now, Amen

Time Will Tell

An Emoji Devotions for Tuesday, August 8th, 2023:

Topic: Time will tell

Highlight: "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." - John 16:33

Beloved friends,

In the realm of possibilities, dreams can come true. The power wielded by influential individuals often stems from their long-established hold on dubious influences. Yet, true power resides only in God. Jesus unequivocally proclaims that all authority, both in heaven and on earth, belongs to Him (Matthew 28:18). However, time will reveal the authenticity of this claim, as influential figures often attribute their success to the devil, deceiving the masses, and leading the wayward astray.

Nevertheless, let us pray fervently for the removal of those who follow wicked paths and perpetrate evil deeds. May the Lord eradicate them, along with their ill intentions. May peace reign in the heart of Israel and in the hearts of all righteous individuals (Psalm 125:5).

These individuals who betray others, sowing seeds of hopelessness and derailing their progress, have allowed themselves to be corrupted by falsehoods. They exploit the innocence and ignorance of the masses, serving the devil's agenda. Wisdom is dwindling on the earth, replaced by information that fosters malevolence. Only God can administer justice to those who seek it, for worldly leaders abuse their influence and employ forces that lack transparency to intimidate their opponents. They may gain credibility through the support of God's righteous people during elections, but once in power, they forsake truth and righteousness.

In this era, every platform seems to facilitate conspiracy and lies to silence justice. But fear not, for time will ultimately disclose the truth. God will not grant the power-hungry dominion over those who cultivate peace and righteousness (Psalm 125:3).

Similar to how Elijah unexpectedly found himself under a juniper tree, God provided sustenance for him, saying, "Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you" (1 Kings 19:7). An angel brought him a divine meal, granting him the strength to accomplish the seemingly impossible. When Elijah looked around, bread lay near his head, freshly baked over a fire, accompanied by a jar of water. He partook of this nourishment, then rest his head.

Time will tell when you will still outrun those who have gone ahead of you in life's achievement because you remained in faith in Christ Jesus. (1 Kings 18:46)

When those who would not allow you have a say, one day all will eventually keep quiet and listen to what you have to say first because you believe in Christ Jesus. Only time will tell. (Read Genesis 42:5-7)

When you will have to decide if rain will fall or not. Time will tell. (Read James 5:17-18)

Believe in your ability in Jesus alone and  only if you remain in Christ Jesus and keep yourself safe following his commands, and doing all it takes to be like His true disciples. You will have peace in this troubled world.

"Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah [giving him supernatural strength]. He girded up his loins and outran Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel [nearly twenty miles]."1 Kings 18:46

These are powerful words of wisdom of Jesus Christ, keep doing the right thing under the juniper tree of life. Time will unfold the truth. Jesus said "If you love me, keep my commands" John 14:15.

Have peace in Christ today.

Prayer:  Dear Lord Jesus, heal my time and seasons. Let me have peace in you always. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

When you sigh, heaven raises eyebrow

Highlight:

Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, Upon them that hope in his mercy Psalm 13:18

She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” Genesis 16:13 NIV

God's eye on you. Looking from heaven with HIS shining eyes. God sees all you're going through, and all you endured to the glory of His name. He said His grace is sufficient for you. Thus you you can accomplish everything by His strength, Philippians 4:13.  He promised us never to let us walk alone, That even though we walk through the darkest valley, We will fear no evil, for HE is present with us; His rod and staff, are guiding and comforting us always. Psalms 23:4 NIV

In times of despair and weariness, it's essential to remember that God is always by your side, watching over you even when you feel discouraged. He is a faithful and loving God who promises to never let you down. As the Psalmist beautifully expresses in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." This verse affirms that even in our moments of deep sorrow, God is near, offering comfort and salvation.

Additionally, Isaiah 41:10 provides another powerful assurance, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

This passage reminds us that God is not only watching over us but actively working to strengthen and support us. So, when life feels overwhelming and sighs escape our lips, we can find solace in knowing that God's unwavering presence is with us, offering guidance and care.

God heard Hagar son crying and came to rescue them. Genesis 21:8-21

“Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnant of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
Isaiah 46:3‭-‬4

Prayer:

The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace. In the name of Jesus our burden bearer. Amen
[Numbers 6:24-26]

There is no mistake

"And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down."

Luke 13:9

"Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay."
Ecclesiastes 5:5 KJV

There is an appointed time for everyone on earth. The Lord Jesus has promised all who come to Him that their later end will be rewarding and full of fun. The first miracle attributed to Jesus in the gospel of John was The transformation of water into wine at the wedding at Cana. This connotes what God told His people in Jeremiah 29:11

Christians facing difficult situations today can take comfort in Jeremiah 29:11 knowing that it is not a promise to immediately rescue us from hardship or suffering, but rather a promise that God has a plan for our lives and regardless of our current situation, He can work through it to prosper us and give us a hope

"I know what I intend to do for you, declares the Lord. I plan good things for you and not bad. I'm going to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 FBV

Prayer: Hope of glory, I hope in you. guide me to heaven in the spirit of Hope in Jesus name. AMEN.

Jonah's fish in Peter's thought

An Emoji Devotional for Mon, June 2023

Today: Jonah's fish in Peter's thought

Highlights:

When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

Luke 5:8 KJV

https://bible.com/bible/1/luk.5.8.KJV

Peter was a considerate and generous man, He had never thought it would be unfair to be angry when Jesus asked for his boat after his fruitless effort fishing all day without a catch. He gave his boat and listened to Jesus speak. The word Jesus teached had an impact on Peter, however, Jesus had to show appreciation by giving Peter all He had been labouring for all day within a minute. This broke Peter down on His Knees both in physical and emotional form to convict himself as a sinner before the Good judge of the Universe. Depart from me, I am a sinner, meaning, your reciprocal generosity was a mystery that gave me an unimaginable and generational achievement. Peter has never seen any caught so much fish that could make the boat sink. Peter must have received a gift that he deemed Holy. Perhaps he have been thinking of Jonah while he was trying to catch a single fish. 'Where is the fish that swallowed Jonah?'. Then suddenly someone came to use a useless boat. Who need a boat that could not be used to catch a single fish a whole day. Peter gave the boat out of relief that someone is using the boat for something worthwhile. In life, our efforts will not go to waste no matter what fruitless efforts we encoutered while trying but once we give Christ chance to have His way around our struggles to achieve His will, we will see all the blessings coming to us seamlessly. Jesus Is truly good.
