Divine Relationship

An Emoji Devotions for Mon 7th December,2020

Highlights:

Not to us, O Lord, not to us,

but to your name goes all the glory

for your unfailing love and faithfulness. Psalms 115:1

God is king. He made human in His image. Imagine you have a pet and it will just not attach itself to you. How would you feel and What will you do? Two things may happen. 1. If you love the pet, you would leash it somewhere for some time and find a way to get the it attached to you OR You take the dog away to an animal shelter.

God wants us to recognize his presence as our heavenly father, leader and King. This is exactly how the Israelites acknowledged God. They took laws and orders from the Almighty. And Whenever they go wayward they were punished for their disobedience and once they knew it and repent, they got delivered.

Psalm 115:9 O Israel, trust the Lord! He is your helper and your shield.

We are all God's image no matter what race or nationality. First, We want people to acknowledge us in our family and community. If something goes wrong and people to whom love is expected misbehaves to us, we feel sad most especially when their attitude towards us is not called for. We expect them to love us and give back love to them.

But We must realize how much God wants us to acknowledge Him in our daily lives through prayer and fellowship fellowship with Him.

The dead cannot sing praises to the Lord, for they have gone into the silence of the grave.

"But we can praise the Lord

    both now and forever!

             Praise the Lord!

 Psalms 115: 17-18

Prayer: May the Lord richly bless

    both me and my children.

May I be blessed by the Lord,

who made heaven and earth. Amen

               Psalms 115:13-15

Dwelling with the King of Kings

An Emoji Devotions for Sun 6th December, 2020

Topic: Dwelling with the King of Kings

But on that day I will give special treatment to the land of Goshen, where my people are living; no flies will be there. This way you will know that I, the LORD, am in the land. Exodus 8:22

In every city there is always an estate reserved for the rich and nobles called G.R.A. - Government Reserved Area.

God rules over all the earth, and rules as a King in the midst of it, and does whatsoever he pleases in it; Psalm 74:12 and in the midst of the land of Goshen where his people dwelt, and over whom he was King in a peculiar manner, and took a peculiar care of them, to protect and defend them; (Bible study tools)

Dwelling with the King of Kings assures us that we are safe. Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Most important thing is being conscious of who we are. The Israelites were serving as slaves for almost 400 years until Moses discovered that their God is a MIGHTY God who can deliver and save them. We must serve Him with consciousness and do his will with consciousness, see ourselves as His citizen and have faith in His protection.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. Psalms 91:15

Our consciousness in God's power and grace matters a lot. Anyone who is born again (Who has given their lives to Jesus Christ and confessed Him as their Lord and saviour), doing God's will is part of his people. God will protect and care for His own.

Prayer: God I am conscious that I am part of your people and I dwell in your reserved place. I take my refuge in you. Help me Lord. In Jesus name. Amen

At the mention of Jesus name

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. James 2:19 NIV

Teacher," said John, "we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us." Mark 9:38

Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out

Act 19:13, 15-16

I have heard on several occasions when people of other religions publicly make confessions that anytime they have serious troubles in their dreams, they shout the name of "Jesus" and they were delivered.

This is to show difference between deep authentic belief and negotiable trial belief (the I-want-my-money-back). The demons knows all these things and they react to intentions. I have a testimony. There was a night I had severe stomach ache which suddenly fell upon me to the point of death, immediately I held my belly and started speaking in tongues of the Holy Ghost and within few seconds the pain leave as if it was waiting for me to see my next action.

Act 16:30-31 Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household".

But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. James 2:18

What type of faith do you own?

Prayer: Spirit of Salvation take over my spirit in Jesus name. Amen

Trust in the Lord

An emoji devotions for Fri, 4th December, 2020

Highlights:
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

It's true that God is with you. You should continue to believe this truth. A good choice is to believe in the name of Jesus.  The name of Jesus known as Emmanuel" in Hebrew translation mean "God is with us" and it is a powerful name. A strong tower of refuge. The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10

Have faith in God Mark 11:22 , All things are possible to those who believe. Mark 9:23, For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:5 NIV

Prayer: I believe in the name of Jesus with all my heart.

Your Eyes

An Emoji Devotions for Thursday, 3rd December,2020

Topic: Your Eyes

Highlight: “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. Matthew 6:22 NIV

There is a door to your soul. Are you conscious of that aspect of your personality that sees a situation? Your Eye.

What are your thoughts? Are you afraid or confident? Angry or sympathetic? Constructive or destructive? Is your eye closed or open to the truth.

If your eyes are healthy your whole body will be full of light. Be honest with yourself. What do you see?

He looked up and said, "I see people; they look like trees walking around." Mark 8:24

Once again, How do you see your neighbour?

Prayer: Please Lord I want to see with healthy eyes forever. In Jesus name. Amen.

Then the word of the Lord came to him

Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.” 1Kings 17:8-9

As children listens to voice of their parents we also need to heed the Lord's voice as our heavenly father. The word of God is written in the Bible and when read to a certain extent the Lord voice is heard. Joshua 1:8

Soon enough a widow in a town called Zarephath will be visited by Prophet Elijah for his sustenance in time of famine. Little did she know that God had a plan for her, she had determine to eat her last meal and die with her child.

As surely as the Lord your God lives,” she replied, “I don’t have any bread—only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it—and die.”

Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’”

She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah.

Get ready to obey the word of the Lord with faith today.

Prayer: Dear gracious Lord please visit me in a miraculous way today. Amen
